Guys,

I have pre ordered a 6+ in the EE Shop last Friday, yet I upgraded to a Sim Only deal (11.49/23.99 for 9GB).

Does anyone know whether they would sell me the phone outright? I highly doubt so, but thought I'd ask.

I do not need it, as I am going with my click and reserve.... which then means: if someone needs a 6+ from EE, I'd happily give y reservation away. Apparently i was 5th in line with l(acc to store) defo 19/09 pick up. Its Space grey and I DO NOT want any money.

Anyone else upgraded with EE and literally heard nothing?

I know they deliver with DPD which is good so just hoping to get a text from them

I'm in the same boat as you. I called EE last night to see what was going on and they couldn't tell me anything. Just kept saying that "it could take up to 30 days! DPD will text you the day before it arrives."

I went for iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey, the guy I ordered with said I was the first who had ordered that model and size (it was about 08:30 last Friday). I'm also hoping that I get a text from DPD tomorrow.

I ordered my iPhone 6 16GB Gold over the phone with EE at 5PM on the 12th

My email confirmation states delivery for Friday 19th!!

And they also informed me that any preorders placed on Friday 12 or Saturday 13 will be delivered on Friday!!

I'm so excited I'm upgrading from my 3 year old 4S so hopefully i will notice a huge difference In speed, battery life etc

Think perhaps I should have waited and played first!

From the Mashable review...

Excellent. That seems to correspond with the mockup my daughter made for me. I'm absolutely fine with a 6 Plus.

Btw mine had been delivered :)

My brother ordered from EE on Sunday... it got 'referred'. He phoned yesterday, and they said it was referred as he already had an account. They quickly checked everything then approved it.

Got an email a few minutes later stating "Hi, Welcome to EE. Your pre order has been processed so get ready to say hello to your new device...".

Not sure when he'll receive it, as delivery was within 7 days on their website. The EE rep said they're doing their best to get most delivered on Friday.

Oddly, my brother opted for the £180 up front cost for the iPhone 6, he paid with his credit card when he placed the referred pre-order, and now his EE account is showing £180 in credit, but the money has not been taken or reserved on his credit card.

Yep, i went for exactly the same phone, 8:45 last Friday. Got a business account so not sure if that changes anything. Just hoping.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, UKMail are just delivering to royal mail for the last part.

Date Time Message
17th September 2014 09:30 With Royal Mail for Delivery
17th September 2014 01:17 Out For Delivery
16th September 2014 10:50 At Delivery Location
15th September 2014 17:25 Booked/Awaiting Collection
15th September 2014 17:22 Collected

This is good news for me as my case is being delivered to my home and is rural location makes it challenging for anyone other than the Royal Mail to find

Pre-ordered a 64gb iPhone 6 on launch day from Apple.com. Got the confirmation at 09:04 and it was showing as '7-10' days until dispatch at the time I ordered.

I've just had a notification from Amex that Apple have taken the £619 balance for the phone. I don't imagine that Apple take payment significantly in advance of dispatch. Whilst my order status is unchanged and is showing 'Delivery: 29 Sep, 2014 - 02 Oct, 2014', I'm hoping the fact that payment has been taken is a positive sign that this may be a conservative estimate.

Those of you that were expecting your pre-orders on Friday - when did Apple take the payment from your cards?

I've received an order acknowledgement e-mail from CPW but has anyone received a confirmation email that it's being delivered?

I think mine was taken yesterday or the day before.

Ordered mine on Friday and delivery estimate is for this Friday. They took the money on the next working day, in this case, on Monday.

Cheers

My email confirmation from EE came through at 8:46 on the Friday and stated that my estimated delivery date is 17/10/2014, I really hope that's an error. What time did your email come through? does it estimate a Friday 19th delivery?

Any other folks who upgraded with EE who ordered early in the morning and getting the same date as me?

Havent had an email confirmation, glitch in the system apparently. It has definitely gone through though.

I went for iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey, the guy I ordered with said I was the first who had ordered that model and size (it was about 08:30 last Friday). I'm also hoping that I get a text from DPD tomorrow.

I went for the exact same configuration with EE - got my order in around 8.10am on Friday - guy told me I was the first! :p Although he did say that the call queue was the biggest he had ever seen at EE. He was really pleasant but I imagine by the end of the day he'd had enough!!!

Got my confirmation at bang on 8.30am the same day and delivery was set for the 19th (the guy on the phone told me the same).

No contact from EE ever since!

Although someone jsut posted this on the EE forums:
Great news i have just spoke to EE who confirmed they received stock last night and they have been picked for shipment. They confirmed i will receive my 6 friday. I also asked what there stock looks like and they have no backlogs at all so looks positive for everyone.

Stock in Retail Stores, Online still 'Preparing for Dispatch'

In EE stores in and around london (all i know for sure right now), iPhone's are being delivered already. If you preordered in EE store, a good reassurance of Friday 19th (despite probably not hearing much from EE themselves). Interested to know about apple retail stores.

More importantly, when is my iPhone going to change from Preparing for Dispatch!?

Did you buy straight from apple? If so probably late tonight or tomorrow at some point.

Strange, yours is worded completely differently than mine. I'm upgrading from Orange to a full EE contract so that might be the difference. I didn't even get an order reference. What time did you order and then get confirmation?

I think they really struggled on Friday, along with all the other networks and Apple themselves.

I thought I had seen someone post in this thread saying that they were first with this config :p, may have been you? I guess EE's systems were so overloaded on Friday that they couldn't really tell how many orders had really gone through.

Thanks for that EE forum quote though, that's definitely given me more hope.

Well good luck to all of us, hope we can open our lovely new phones this Friday :)

i ordered my 6 plus 128 GB silver at about 8:40 UK time Friday... was for 19th when i clicked buy, but had switched to 7-10 days by the time i got to the confirmation page. email confirmation came at 8:42

just switched to preparing for dispatch, so hoping it comes sooner than the 30th

edit: and £ hit my amex, so clearly things are moving.
