UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

So now we'll spend the next 24 hours + finding out how to track Syncreon orders this year. :D

I ordered at around midday on Monday an iPhone 6 16GB Space Grey. Would have ordered sooner, but it's being ordered with a bunch of other phones through work and it's a fairly low priority to them.

My order has been showing as "Delivery: 29 Sep, 2014 - 02 Oct, 2014 by Standard Shipping" since ordering and today changed from processing to preparing for dispatch. So it would be really handy to know if this is likely to arrive sooner (maybe even for Friday?) based on when other people ordered.

Which makes me wonder, were Apple being conservative in telling some people 29th - 2nd? Maybe they'll be able to meet those orders for Friday - It might only need a small amount of cancellations or early consignments into the UK. They changed my status today to preparing, maybe i'm not far behind the 19/9 deliveries?
 
My order for iPhone 6 64gb space grey, was placed at 0802 on 12/9, and dispatch confirmed via UPS this evening.

Wonder how long until their tracking system will update. I don't even know who Syncreon are.

No, I just think it lends credence to Apple having shipped devices to the UK in advance. They clearly sent them here on announcement day.
 
Dispatched - yay!

Ordered 8:25am confirmation email at 8:28am - delivery with UPS which is a bummer as we're usually on the end of the UPS round :/

Roll on Friday!
 
Reading Twitter it seems EE might have royally fudged up orders and deliveries.


Lots of people seem genuinely surprised they have had text messages in the last couple of hours confirming that their phones will be with them on Friday, considering they preordered over the weekend or later...

Whilst people who actually got a preorder in during the first couple of hours haven't heard anything...

Makes me wonder whether the utter melt down EE had on Friday caused those early preorders to not hit their systems properly.
