No, I just think it lends credence to Apple having shipped devices to the UK in advance. They clearly sent them here on announcement day.

I agree the people that got 19/9 dates were probably allocated stock in the UK. But, maybe they didn't know when the next shipments were due in, so guessed at an extra 1-2 weeks, when actually a shipment was arranged and has already landed. ~ Hence my order status has already changed from processing to preparing well before the 29th to 2nd estimate.

Can those people who are getting dispatched please, please, PLEASE, state the date/time of pre-order!

I ordered at around midday on Monday an iPhone 6 16GB Space Grey. Would have ordered sooner, but it's being ordered with a bunch of other phones through work and it's a fairly low priority to them.

My order has been showing as "Delivery: 29 Sep, 2014 - 02 Oct, 2014 by Standard Shipping" since ordering and today changed from processing to preparing for dispatch. So it would be really handy to know if this is likely to arrive sooner (maybe even for Friday?) based on when other people ordered.

date: 12th
time: 0843

i had an experience with synceon delivery... The last thing i ordered with apple was delivered at 7.30am in the morning.. I am still in my pjyamas when the parcel came....

I wish my delivery now is with Synceon instead of UPS

Reading Twitter it seems EE might have royally fudged up orders and deliveries.

Lots of people seem genuinely surprised they have had text messages in the last couple of hours confirming that their phones will be with them on Friday, considering they preordered over the weekend or later...

Whilst people who actually got a preorder in during the first couple of hours haven't heard anything...

Makes me wonder whether the utter melt down EE had on Friday caused those early preorders to not hit their systems properly.

My brother ordered Sunday, got a text saying it's delivered Friday 19th, and EE haven't even taken the initial £180 up front payment yet. It's not even pending on his credit card. EE royally messed up somewhere.

My order has been shipped with Syncreon, how can I track it?
*Not yet confirmed: Enter your 'Delivery Number' in the 'Order No/Delivery No' box on the Syncreon tracking page, and your Apple order number (starts with W) in the ‘Web Order No’ box.

I'd imagine this is correct, since entering the Delivery Number prompts it to ask for a 'Web Order No', just they're not in the system yet.

Ordered at 08:29 on the 12th.

Going to wait for it to arrive before I try iOS8, I need to wipe my iPhone 5 to give to my parents so may as well wait until then.

Do they give you 1hr window? and that's good to know they come so early, UPS always delivered my stuff so late!

Ordered at 8:33 on Friday 12th and my 64GB 6 Plus has now been dispatched for Friday 19th delivery with Syncreon :D

Yeah. I was out of contract on my previous sim-only with them so just gave them some stick and they offered that.

Well, I am with Three at the moment, having the £15 deal with unlimited internet, 2000 mins, 5000 texts, but the coverage is garbage. Been thinking on swapping to EE but the 5 GB deal is £21.99 with a one year contract. Still undecided.

Yep, Disaapointed in with what is being seen on Ee

Order in at 8:40 Friday but not holding out any hope for a Friday delivery now

Does nobody else's say shipped on the 12th? I've seen people saying 13th, but mine says the 12th...

Same here......12th. I presume that's when they left the factory, we only got notified today because they are in the uk now. I recon to try and stop them getting stolen from the plane hold! ;)

This is probably a really long shot but I'll explain it and see if anyone else is in the same boat.

I ordered an iPhone 6 16GB Space Grey from ChitterChatter on Friday the 12th at about 9.01 (Their lines opened at 9AM). ChitterChatter are (I think, check them out yourselves) very similar to Carphone Warehouse. They sell multiple phones but to two carriers only. EE and T-Mobile. I am with EE and was due an upgrade from my SIM only plan. I tried ringing EE but they were just so busy. So I went to ChitterChatter. Saw the iPhone 6 16GB Space Grey on a £38.99 a month plan with £79 upfront, unlimited calls and texts, 4GB 4G data, inclusive roaming, double speed, the "Extra" plan, perfect, rang them and ordered it. They never confirmed a delivery date and I have rang them a couple times to see if anything has changed, but they said nothings confirmed yet. I see people getting confirmation from CPW and starting to slighty worry! Although not too worried as EE themselves are claiming 7 days delivery!

So what I want to know is;
1) Am I right in saying ChitterChatter is similar to CPW? (Website is chitterchatter.co.uk)
2) Has anyone else ordered from CC or have ordered maybe a 5s or 5c or anything from them before?
3) If so have you heard anything from them?(iP6)/What did you get from them relating to stock/delivery? (iP5/c/s or before)

I know we really have still got another day before anything can be set in concrete, but some have got their confirmation and even now I see someone on here order one yesterday from Voda and got delivery confirmation today!!!

Anybody?

How is everyone's iOS 8 downloads?
Mine started at 1 hour, but 75 minutes later it now says about 2. :(
