I simply went into the local 3Store and they gave me an activated nano-sim (with adapter to use in current old phone), completely free.
New SIM worked literally straight away.
Also requested a new SIM for another number but they say "We'll charge you £5.11". the way to get around it is "But I have been a customer for years/months. Is it possible for you to ask your supervisor or something to waive the fee". After that, they usually come back from hold "Ok sir/Madam, we have waived the charge"
Another excuse to use is "I've only ever done this very rarely, and don't feel comfortable paying £5.11 replacement fee when my 'old' network did this for free".
That above method also works.
Anyone here tried to replace their sim from Micro to Nano and asked to pay £5.xx for replacement from Three? its ridiculous!!!
I hangup on the person I spoke with then called back and I got another person through, and they said they'll send it to me for Free, WTF?
Easiest is to go in store and switch it
I hope you are right Dangerous Theory. The woman I spoke to said I was the first, however I don't believe that.
Just got my shipping notification! Excited now. EE have just improved their sim only plans. Quite competitive with 3 now, and they have better 4G coverage in the areas I'm interested in.
I have unlimited data and thousands of minutes and texts for £18 a month on Three, it's £25 for 5GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts on EE, that's not even close, especially as data would be the important thing with going to a 4G connection, otherwise why bother. Wish Three would hurry up adding my area to they're 4G coverage, still might go EE anyway if they don't have the same features available.
its become £21.99 nowand not that its relevant or helpful but their 10GB plan is £27.99 but because i was a "loyal customer" they let me renew with a £10 loyalty discount so i now have unlimited mins and texts as well as unlimited tethering and 10GB data for £17.99, oh and they've started free 080 calls too! Looking forward to the voice over wifi feature in october, free international calls here we come!

Anyone with Syncreon Parcel as their delivery company, and a tracking number starting 309, your tracking will most definitely be UK Mail.
My cases are showing on UK Mail with the same delivery prefix.
Looking forward to friday now, just wish UK mail would deliver at a decent time to me!
I hope I receive some sort of email or text tomorrow as other than verbal confirmation I have had nothing from three. My online account just shows I have requested an upgrade and that's it.
There will be hell on if I don't get my delivery on Friday.
I do think they'll be coming by UKMail, but I'm going to have to disagree with the 309 thing, I ordered a case for my 6 and a dock for it, and while the dock has a 309 tracking number, that is coming by post. the case came by UKMail and the tracking/delivery numbers are the same and do not start 309. weird![]()
DPD are probably the best courier company. You can even track the driver and what delivery position you're at relative to what delivery number he's on, so you know exactly when you will get it. I think I got UKMail, which is the worst. As long as they deliver it on Friday and don't leave me to wait until 8pm like my iPhone 5 delivery, I'd be happy.
After a few restless days ive just had an email from CPW confirming my order has been dispatched. I ordered 64gb space grey Iphone 6. The order was placed at 9.00am on Friday via telephone and it was an EE upgrade.
The feeling was satisfying after receiving it and even more when the phone arrives!![]()

How come you get unlimited tethering but 10gb data?
I would switch to someone else, but I'm on three at the minute with unlimited data and unlimited tethering (which they dropped recently usually 4GB).
