I ordered at 8 a.m. on the dot. Call back on the afternoon confirmed order had gone through and cost.i rang again Tuesday as I had Nutty heard anything and they confirmed delivery for Friday.just waiting fort Ann updater, email or text to give delivery time slot.

Using the new predictive text or was it a conscious decision to encrypt your reply? Lol

DPD are probably the best courier company. You can even track the driver and what delivery position you're at relative to what delivery number he's on, so you know exactly when you will get it. I think I got UKMail, which is the worst. As long as they deliver it on Friday and don't leave me to wait until 8pm like my iPhone 5 delivery, I'd be happy.

Any courier company that has self employed driver is bad imo....that includes DPD however the services DPD offer are great E.G. driver tracking (You are aware this is delayed by 15 minutes due to drivers protection)?

Nothing, I mean no one beats UPS...they where awarded the Olympic's site management for a reason!

I've had one "bad" experience with DPD. Replacement phone, and I was given a late slot (18:50-19:50 I think).
I rang to check that it was going to be delivered, they said yes. I told them I was waiting at work for it, so don't want to be sat here only for the driver to think "ah sod that, nobody will be there" and just not bother trying. I was reassured that wouldn't happen, the driver is on til 9pm, he'll attempt delivery..
The very thing I suspected, happened. I sit next to a window, was staring out the window. No van came anywhere near the building and there's only one access way. Refreshed that page "we could not deliver". Rang and they gave excuses that were all invalid - gated, couldn't access, nobody there, blah blah.
Apparently it was an agency driver, and never actually got a reason as to why they didn't deliver.
They upgraded it to a pre-10am delivery for the next day, and that turned up no problems.

So, with all these extra deliveries they have to make, and extra temp-staff they take on... I'll keep my fingers crossed for anyone that has a late delivery ;-)

On a normal occasion, they've been ace. I've had about 6 deliveries off them in the past and never had an issue other than 2 minutes outside the slot they gave lol but that I can handle.

Wish me luck with my UKMail delivery..

Received an email confirming dispatched item and delivery time of Friday 19th :D

Ordered at 8:30 on Friday morning just before I went to work. They're using UPS, I wish they would use DPD!

There is a cooling off period I believe
P.s loving ios8

As per the posts above, there is NO cooling off period if you buy in store. There is a 14 day return period allowed for MAIL ORDER and INTERNET sales only.

If you buy in store, you are stuck with it.

Pretty sure all contracts in the UK have to have at least a 7 day cooling off period. Work for O2 in the UK myself and our cooling off period even for Sim-only contracts is 14 days :)

EDIT:
Pretty shocking. Just gave it a Google. No cooling off period on EE. Pretty surprising really, I know Three and O2 do, you would think something like that would be standard. Apparently not

Haha I've got lots planned tomorrow after work so it should go pretty quick! Got my case arriving tomorrow as well.

Lucky you mate, I have the whole of this week off, and its been going extremely slow for me... waiting and waiting for this damned iPhone to arrive :D.

Sounds like you could well have been the first to order then! I don't think we're getting a text until Friday morning though.

Pre-orders for iPhone 6 Plus with EE

Has anyone pre-ordered with EE? I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus with them earlier. All they said was I would get 'random' SMS updates about my delivery each week. They have not sent any e-mail confirmation or SMS confirmation of my upgrade/pre-order. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I originally ordered on Apple website but it says 3-4 weeks delivery and then noticed it will be cheaper overall to get iPhone 6 Plus on contract with EE, than to buy unlocked phone and pay for their ridiculously over-priced sim-only deals!

They probably offer the best 4G coverage in the UK and will be only network to offer WiFi calling for iPhone by December this year, but they really do over-charge for their services!

Received my delivery confirmation text today. Definitely a Friday delivery. Now if only Syncreon could be of use.....

Indeed, I been trying to use them for sometime, I have a feeling the trackers wont work until the afternoon or late afternoon.

Strange that mine uses the word Dispatched, and yours says Shipped.

its become £21.99 now ;) and not that its relevant or helpful but their 10GB plan is £27.99 but because i was a "loyal customer" they let me renew with a £10 loyalty discount so i now have unlimited mins and texts as well as unlimited tethering and 10GB data for £17.99, oh and they've started free 080 calls too! Looking forward to the voice over wifi feature in october, free international calls here we come! :D

And there is the issue, you are looking at the 12 month contracts, no way I'm getting into even one year, one month is as far as I will do, and that's £25, Three "supposedly" are not changing the prices with 4G, so if they're coverage and speed is good enough I might as well stay with the better prices.

I have tracking information

Does anyone whose order status changed from 'Processing' to 'Preparing for dispatch' today have their model showing up in their support profile yet?

I've been following this thread and was under the assumption that the two events were linked (the status change and the visibility of the phone in the support profile), however my status changed at around 10am but I've not got anything new showing in my support profile!

Also, reckon it's too much to hope for that I could get a 19/09 or 20/09 delivery if my original estimate says between 30/09 and 03/10?

both my iphone6 plus 128gb gold and 64gb space grey were marked as despatched via UPS. Tracking number doesn't work on UPS' website yet

Synchrecon aren't a courier, they receive the batches of iPhones and distribute them out to the various couriers.

I *think* if it's not UPS listed specifically, it will be UKMail or FedEx.

Thanks, I remember now, my iPhone 5 came UKMail, although it said Synchreon.

So will UPS, UKMail or FedEx leave with a neighbour with authorisation by a signed note on the door?
