UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Reposting this from Carphone Warehouse thread. May help anyone else.

I just phoned Customer Care number at the bottom of the 'invoice' regarding my iPhone 6 64gb Space Grey Instore order. He said that colour and size, and the iPhone 6+ were the most popular.

I asked about my Instore order, he then said that he cannot comment on whether it's delivered or not until tonight, or tomorrow.

He said it's more likely I will receive my order as I ordered Instore. People online could see waits of 3-5 weeks.

He went on to say even if I don't receive a text or email, it doesn't mean it hasn't arrived Instore, just that Carphone aren't 100% with letting their customers know.

So yeh, I have to ring my branch (Chelmsford) later 9am-5.30pm opening times, and see if they know anything. Failing that, I will ring up tomorrow during the day.

I am in no rush, I have waited 4 years already haha. And no way am I using annual leave for a mobile phone. Just as long as i'm not waiting 3-5 weeks I will be happy...
 
Ordered 6+/128/SG direct from Apple with MB leather case.

Case shipped with Syncreon Postal, and has just been delivered via the postman.

Still unable to track the phone delivery with UPS though.
 
UKMail for me. Don't think I've had an Apple product delivered to me by them before, it's always been UPS (and our UPS guy delivers at my workplace around 11am or so)... fingers crossed UKMail get it to me without me having to stay behind at work!

Used the tracking No. from Apple order status page in the 'Consignment/Order Number box on UKMail tracking page. And the Delivery No. from Apple in the 'Customer Ref No.' box.

UPS label is now created...Check yours.

Just checked my W..... number on the UPS site. Not working for me yet. Need to leave for work now lol Somethings got to pay for this lot!
 
Booked for collection now with UK mail at 709am, ordered 837 last Friday. Mad refresh all day until the tracking updates.........sigh..........

Mine says that a ups label has been created & that's as far as it goes at the moment.
 
I just registered to load off some of the hype, but I have a feeling the effect will be the opposite :p Hope I'm allowed to join you UK folks as a German?

Half an hour ago my DHL Express tracking changed to "Shipment information received", located in "Prague, Czech Republic". Alright then!
 
Just to let many know, most delivery companies used by Apple on a big release day work later. I had a delivery 9pm last time. He stated they work extended hours during Apple release dates because it's a big contract. That was UKmail.

It won't be the Apple order number, try the Tracking Number, probably starts with something like 1Z...
