Yep mine still says preparing although I have had it before where it stays on that and all of a sudden it turns up at my door
Just hope they make another mistake and the phone turns up today
Called Apple to chase and got the bog standard reply that "preparing for shipment" is a good sign...

Just called UKMail to confirm the delivery address matches what I gave Apple and not what Syncreon showed and it does. Clears that up at least.

I wouldn't worry. Chances are Apple are making their way through all the phones that are to be handed over to UPS. That's probably why those of us with a tracking number still can't see it on the ups website, and some are still waiting to dispatch.

So it's expecting to deliver mine at 6pm. No doubt he will be late/stuck in traffic and then miss my delivery. I will f'in kill them.

Does anyone know anything more about UKMail? Do they just say 'out for delivery' all day or do they give more specific times etc?

This must be a generic time the system adds in maybe because they dont actually give you a time slot?
Mine says exactly the same as yours shipment pickup from Hinckley at 06:40 on the 18th for delivery on 19th @18:00

They just say "out for delivery" and it can be any time between 07:00 and 18:00.
Same here. They can't deliver them all at 6pm!

To those who've asked about UK Mail, they don't give you a time slot like Interlink / DPD do.
The 18:00 delivery time on the tracking is not the time they expect to deliver it, its when it will be delivered by as the service is by 6pm.
We use UK mail a lot through work, I don't rate them, but it does mean they deliver very early to my office so should have my phone by 10!

My hope is that the 18:00 is actually a "delivers by" for that service. Mine also says 18:00.
My AppleCare+ order is coming today, and has similar numbers (Synchreon and a 309*** number). Tracked that via UK Mail and it's coming via Royal Mail.

Thats going to be the latest it can be delivered by. Its going to be delivered on the Next Day service by 6pm. Its also a kind of worst case indicator, they can say they have till 6 so you cannot phone and pester them all day to see when the delivery will arrive, they will just say before 6.
We've been told that we should expect a text from DPD the day before delivery to give us a time slot.
Also a lot of us got varying texts from EE yesterday afternoon/evening to say roughly when they would be delivered (mine said within 21 days) but I called and they gave me a completely different date (this Friday - launch day). So who knows!

UKMail will deliver all day tomorrow, so disregard the @1800hrs comment. All my previous pre-orders have been through UKMail and delivery has always been prior to 10am (acknowledging this is just my own experience).
May i politely suggest that, if your order is showing on Syncreon, it's a pretty sure bet you'll have your new phone in your hands at some point tomorrow.
Personally, the wait from processing to preparing for dispatch was 'squeeky-bum time'!

Cheers buddy, I hope you're right. Two years ago with my iP5 i had such an awful experience with the courier company so I'm very negative now lol.
