I've said a few times in this thread, unless your the first 5-10 people i don't think anyone will get a iPhone +, and unless you queue the night before i doubt you'll get anything. so pleased they did pre orders this year

She said it was rare she got a text with a time frame though. So wouldn't expect one tomorrow. I'm going out for a bit but told my mom to talk to the UK mail guy when he comes. Just tell him he can come as early as he wants tomorrow 😀

Morning all,

Does anyone know if the UPS Shipment Release Authorization will work if left on my door for my neighbour to sign for? 😎

I'll be heading out of town for the weekend and would prefer to take my delivered package with me on the road and not wait until Sunday

Order placed through the Apple Store website (while on holiday in Portugal) at around 08:23.... confirmation email received at 08:36.

Excited for tomorrow!! 😎

Need a camera to watch my front door. I'm thinking of using iStopMotion on my iPad at my desk and leaving an iPhone running iStopCamera. I really am far too excited!

Just spoke to EE again,

They are apparently getting their first batch of 128gb SG +'s in tomorrow so delivery should be Monday

It is being done based on when people ordered.
 
For those that have UPS as the courier, you don't need to worry if you can't track it yet.

For large companies, the UPS tracking codes are generated first through the UPS Worldship software. Then once they print the label it will show on the UPS website. Since they will probably be processing the shipping labels all day, it will show up at some point.

UPS normally only do only one pickup in the day (typically in the evening), when all of the phones will show as collected by UPS together.

Basically, if your order says 19/9, it will be delivered tomorrow regardless of the current status.
 
My Syncreon has a delivery date/time of 19/9 @ 18:00.

Are these delivery times accurate? If so, I won't bother getting up at 7am!
 
Placed a pre-order for an iPhone 6, 16GB last Friday with EE as I'm a long-standing business customer with them.

Haven't heard anything or had a confirmation, so called this morning. Although they have a full record of the conversation, the person never placed the order properly last Friday and therefore I have no order!

They apologised, said they could place the order today but that I'd now be at the back of the queue and they could offer nothing as compensation.

I'm so furious about it that I'm going to leave EE and take my whole business elsewhere.

My question is now, what is the quickest way for me to get my hands on an iPhone 6? I'm thinking of just ordering from Apple (sim-free) and using my current sim until the contract runs out and then buying a cheap pay as you go from Three. However I have another business account with Three and wondered if I'd be quicker getting a phone from them.

Any thoughts?

I live in Norn Iron too, have you ever had anything delivered by UK Mail? Apparently they don't have any depots here, so I'm assuming they'll drop the phones off at the local Post Office and have Royal Mail deliver them.

I would hope that if stock was really that stupidly low for the +, apple would have admitted so to prevent people queueing for no reason.

I know it's going to be low, but surely not that low?

What time have you made the order? I've made mine at 8:44 but it's still saying Preparing for dispatch 🙁 Delivery 30th Sept 3rd Oct 🙁
