UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Got mine today! 9am from UPS direct from Tamworth

Hope everyone get theirs today, UPS guy told me his truck was full of iphones lol

Restoring from iTunes as we speak

Just picked up my 6 Plus from Brent Cross (reservation). What a beauty. All those freaks on here banging on about how it's too big, how we are going to swap out for a regular 6 etc...

Get a life fellas. Horses for courses. It's great.

It goes into what I think is Hannover Square, and that entire park is a circular queue with multiple lines, and then it exits the park and goes further back still!

I'm a bit of a launch day enthusiast myself but I can honestly say I'd never contemplate getting in a queue that big for a PHONE!!!! Laugh out loud, heh.

My UKMail info has been updated, 1435-1535 for my 6 Plus now. Good good, means I can relax and play more Destiny, beats standing around :)

That said, volume will be looooow out of paranoia!

of course it's a beauty and it's a darn great phone! Doesn't mean people are stupid who prefer a smaller one, though.
 
Ukmail truck (from Croydon depot) just pulled up bang on the start of the predicted delivery slot :D

Having pre-ordered a 6+ 64 in space gray last week, I struggled to order with the store and app. Having eventually ordered and been disappointed with a 3-4 week delivery I decided to get up at 6 am today and take a punt.

Visited Apple in Liverpool. Within ten minutes of queuing the boys in blue said they had NO 6 plus models. Hardly a surprise to me. So I travelled to Apple Trafford centre. There the queues for people who had reservations was almost as big as the entire queue at Liverpool, and the separate queue for those without was 'in the car park, there's hundreds of them' said the kind security woman.

So I've waisted some sleep and diesel.

I am now left questioning my impatience and intellect. Feel a bit like a disappointed 'addict' without their 'hit'.

I always buy my devices outright but have never queued before. For the 4 and 5 I just popped into the Apple Store on release day around lunch, without wait or drama.

Oh well. First world problems and all that.

Thanks for sharing this! I was seriously disappointed with myself for not trying to get a 6 plus from the Trafford Centre this morning. But going off your expereince I would of also wasted my time.

My original preorder was with Phones4U for delivery 19/9. So looks like ill have to deal with a 3-4 week delivery from Apple.

I wish I had access to my PS4 - instead, I'm stuck here in a small hotel room, I have bronchitis and I'm correcting term papers. That delivery is the only thing keeping me alive right now :) UKMail: please don't mess it up!!!
 
Someone broke into an EE shop in Cardiff last night.

Hopefully they didn't get their hands on the goods, or at least took the Samsungs. :D
 
My iPhone 6 just arrived from UK Mail I love it!

I did not have a time slot so very pleasantly surprised when it turned up early!

Restored from iCloud backup with no problems.

Was getting very anxious since it seemed to take a while :D
