I know the feeling my other half's got the 5S and keeps texting me to swap with her lol It'll never happen!!! I'll lock it in the safe at night I think!!!! lol :apple:
 
Very, very pleased with my 6+. It's a thing of beauty. The screen is jaw dropping. It's easy to hold and sits nicely in my jeans pocket. Also typing this one handed. No longer worried about the size whatsoever.

Ukmail delivered 5 minutes earlier than my alloted slot. Massive win all round :)
 
Fml, reserving at covent garden was a terrible mistake, the lines look massive. I reserved a late slot 8-9pm but i don't think i can be bothered to go. Im clearly super naive when it comes to apple launches. :rolleyes:

My time slot was 13.58 - 14.58 and since UK mail did not come during that time so I called up their customer service number and after an eternity of being on hold I spoke to someone who apologised and explained that those time slot estimates were actually made in error and were not supposed to be up on our order info at all! So basically the time slot is not indicative whatsoever as to when we will be receiving our iPhones today and I was advised that it's an all day delivery.

Hope this helps anyone who, like myself, was wondering why they hadn't yet received their delivery yet in their allocated time slot.

Is there not a separate line for reservations so you don't need to wait ages??

I also lost data services for about an hour today, and their customer service was useless.

I was on Three already, but my old phone wasn't 4G. And now that I can get on 4G it's no faster. In fact, my upload speed is faster than my download speed. I wonder if there's a problem with overloading thanks to new custom?

I have just been there for a reservation - there is a separate queue - in and done within 30 minutes!

I have no idea, never been to an apple store on a launch day. The real tragedy is that i specifically picked as late a slot as possible, hoping to just pop grab one and leave. The pictures from covent garden this morning looked horrific and I'm not hopeful that it will be much better come 8pm.

4.7" is deffo a sweet-spot... 5.5 is pretty enourmous but ok for my big hands

I hate the apple store at the best of times, so went today with absolute dread. I was only picking up a case too. Luckily the store inside is pretty manageable.

UKMail via DM state: "Your delivery is still out with the driver and should be on its way.. however despite the eta given, deliveries are up til 8pm"

So, I guess those time-slots were placed in error. Awesome. I get to sit in my car from 5pm to 8pm in the company car park!
 
Just arrived in Holywood.

Nightline driver said that UK Mail don't have access to Nightline's tracking info, hence the delayed status. He said that if you've got a delivery date of today, it will definitely get to you today, in his words "we'll be at it all night if we have to".
 
My iphone 6 128gb arrived bang on time with UKMail this afternoon, top service from them :D

Absolutely loving the 6, perfect size for me - much better/larger screen than the 5S but still useable. One thing i will say is it only just fits in my jeans! (front pocket), so thank god i didn't go with the Plus!

Almost 5pm, no iPhone. UPS are a bunch of wankers. Can't believe this.

Edit: WOW! Seconds later the truck arrives!
