After getting an iPhone 6 delivered today from Three, I realised quite quickly their network was terrible compared to EE. Calls dropped, no or minimal LTE when their coverage said good inside and out online, and their customer service was terrible.

I've got 14 days to return the phone and cancel my contract, so earlier today I ordered via EE (who have amazing LTE coverage in my area). It's a little more expensive than Three, and only 20GB data rather than unlimited, but I am getting 50-70Mbps in my house on my iPhone 5 (with EE), compared to 7Mbps with Three.

Just got a text saying EE iPhone will be delivered tomorrow (I only ordered earlier today).

Sorry Three, I tried, but your network just isn't on par with the big boys.

Do you not use wifi in your house? Just curious......I only get 3G at my workplace with 3, and that gets me around 12-14 meg.......and in city centre I get around 20 on 4G.....that's plenty for my needs......especially at unlimited data for £12.90 a month!

I always do that first test with any device.
The screen is the most important part.:) lol

Yea but I go with the logic that if you don't actually look for it, you may not notice or care :D.......probably cos im too impatient to wait for a new one :D

I only have standard broadband (no fibre), and only get about 6Mbps max, so it's pretty slow compared to EE's LTE (50-70Mbps usually).

I can't get fibre-optic installed for some reason, due to some planning problems.

Thanks for the tip! Anyone know where I might be able to get a temp case for Ip6+ on the off chance it does turn up tommorow or monday? My Spigen has been preparing to ship for ages! Wont be her until 27-30th and with the 6+ I know I will drop the moment its not protected

watching those drop test videos the 6 did really well! you might be ok chancing it for a few weeks

Ah right I get ya......sorry I'm used to virgin 152 meg, seems a bit extreme I know

Folks, I bought my wife a 6 plus and it has been delivered today. She loves the phone but just feels it is a bit too big. I am happy to sell to someone who is keen rather than return to apple.

If anyone is interested just let me know. It is a 6 plus 128GB space grey ordered directly from Apple online and arrived with me this afternoon.

It has been opened but just to see how it felt and then returned into original packaging.

I'll swop (+ the difference) for my 128GB Space Grey that I got today?

Sod it im off to bed, quicker i sleep the quicker I can check the status tomorrow to see if it's actually gonna arrive tomorrow or not :D

I havent seen them yet! Will check them out, I'm worried the size of the + will make it hard to keep hold of because I'm used to Ip5s

To be honest I'd rather not know......a phone with 2 million pixels if 1 is dead im hoping I can pretty much live with that lol

This....!!

My 4S had a dead pixel, took me two years of owning it to even notice it. I think the only reason I even examined it to the degree of seeing it was because I saw it mentioned on here. Even though I know it's there, I would still struggle to find it...

If it bothers anyone though then fair enough, seeing how much we've spent on the devices. Although you run the risk of trading that for a potentially worse defect.

hurrah!

16GB 6 ordered on Saturday evening. Scheduled for delivery beginning of October but has just left Shenzen via UPS and will be delivered Monday!!! How good is that. The case was starting to look quite lonely.

Dead excited and the weekend is going to be hard to sit through, although sitting the case next to the 5S, there doesn't seem much of a difference in size at all ... stating the obvious, I suppose.

Doing some arbitrary maths. I reckon it'll spend 2-3 hrs there, then flight time of about 2hrs to UK. 3-4am arrival?

Mine in Germany too!

"Koeln, Germany 09/19/2014 11:33 P.M. Import Scan"

Having initially thought 'no chance in hell' when I got the email saying it would be delivered tomorrow, now I'm not so sure... still thinking it is a little unlikely to make it to the UK and to the local delivery site by tomorrow AM but who knows?

Personally the delivery address I gave them is for work, so I'm hoping for a Monday delivery. Appreciate that might not be the same as the rest of you chaps!

True Must have took me over 6 iPhone 5 on launch day to find one without Dead/stuck pixel.

To the people who originally had 7-10 day dispatch, but have theirs on the way at the moment (Poland?) are the 6s or 6+s? I'm hoping you'll say 6+ as I must be one of the first wave in the 3-4 weeks window, (delivery was shown as 19th when i added to basket at about 8:35 on the 12th, 7-10 days in basket and then 3-4 weeks at checkout). So if yours are coming early maybe there's hope that 3-4 weeks will only mean a week or so, (probably a little too optimistic, but hey).
