UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Can't for the life of me understand why apple would send this email out to everyone this afternoon if they didn't have some sort of plan for delivery tomorrow.

Guess we'll just have to wait till tomorrow morning to see if the status changes!

waiting and going to sleep without all these conspiracy theories!?! :)

it seems that some people have phones that went out of China from Shenzhen have made it into europe, maybe its these people who will get theirs tomorrow.

where did you get this "driver back to depot" message from?

Waited all day for my iPhone from Ukmail. timeframe said "between 09:52 and 10:52". UKmail twitter and email support kept saying that it will definitely arrive today. now apple status and ukmail status say "delayed" and estimated delivery date is now the 22nd. ridiculous.
 
Could anyone suggest quality, thing screen protectors for the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 model? The one's I've ordered don't even fit the phone....Disappointed as I've spent 6.99 on them.

u.k mail delivery Saturday

I've had the your delivery is delayed message until 22nd from u.k. mail

Though O2 chat advised my iPhone 6 will be delivered tomorrow

Yeah, UPS11 left Warsaw at 21:46 local time there, which fits with your tracking info.

And if it was an email in error.....surely we would have had another email by now apologising for the error and saying to us that delivery will actually be 22nd as planned......this whole thing doesn't add up lol

and being so explicit with the detail too... never had apple not keep to their delivery promises.. very odd of them to start screwing up now but they've had a habit of this with the 6 launch.


- live stream going titsup
- online store not opening at 8
- apple store app not working at all

just seems that they will mess up delivery schedules too (even though i have actually been quoted 30 sept- 3 oct originally)

That would seem to make a lot more sense and nearly everything I've ever had delivered from China has come via HK.

I remember watching my iPhone 4 do the Shenzen -> Hong Kong -> Amsterdam -> East Midlands route back in the day. I'm not sure if UPS do direct HK to UK flights. Agree it makes more sense.

I would have thought so, strange how some have left korea though and some haven't?

Good point, don't want to believe it though ;) I have been awaiting an email to inform me of the error, but even ups aren't giving an estimated date. And I trust ups, they are generally pinpoint accurate with dates, so why not give us one? Odd how we all got the rescheduled notification from ups then Apple saying about tommorow.

As cperchard said, this doesn't add up!

Yea 19:10 on 19th, we got on the direct flight to Stanstead ;)
