The pluses are so popular but am guessing it's limited compared to the 6. I only saw some available at midnight and now it's all unavailable.

Still lots of 6s for Stratford and none at regent street etc

I still think my order will change to preparing on monday so maybe I should just be patient till then. lol who am i kidding :p

So this reservation system will close at 7pm (Saturday) and will re-open again 12.01 on Sunday morning. However, I wouldn't count on there being much more stock as Sunday is usually a lazy day for delivery companies. Maybe Apple's couriers work on Sunday... they probably do considering the amount of money and stores involved.

Managed to get a reservation in at 00:00, thanks to the chap earlier who posted the link. Emailed confirmation at 00:01 with 5% left on my iPad battery!

Then 10 minutes later I get a dispatch notification of my order from Apple which appears to be in Korea saying delivery date 23rd September...

UPS still says:

Apple said at 3pm this afternoon delivery on the 20th, but this is at my work address...

But at least I now know tomorrow, I can walk in and just pick one up and walk out again...

My pick up time was 3pm-4pm today at Bullring. Got there at 3:50pm. There were a few guys outside with blue shirts but I walked to the back of the store to look for cases and the guy asked if I needed any help. Told him I had a reservation and he went and fetched it. Was all done and dusted in less than 10 minutes, no queues. Would never queue up again like I did for the 4.

i have small hands, but I really like the plus. I'm happy witht my purchase so far but God the keyboard is awful in landscape

Good stuff! Only problem is having two sets of £700 taken out my account. I'm a student (idiotic buying one, I know) so baked beans for a week until the refund comes back for one

Got a 16gb gold iPhone 6 plus ordered to collect from Bull Ring birmingham between 9-10am. Ordered at 00:00 in the middle of an 80's party I was at on my 5s which had 2% battery. Phew.

BOOM! 6plus 128gb reserved for tomorrow. Almost makes queuing up all night for nothing seem worth it.

Just to throw my two-pence in...

I placed my order for a iPhone 6 16GB Space Grey direct from Apple on 13th September with a estimate delivery date between 30/9 and 03/10.

I got an e-mail from Apple today telling me it had been despatched and UPS says it will be with me on 22/09.

I am in Blackpool, Lancashire.

i wanted a 64gb sg 6+, all pluses were sold out at trafford centre, i got a second chance at the arndale centre they had 128gb 6+ sg so i snapped that up instead.

That was a manic 2 minutes, thank you for the link people.:)

I wanted to get mine from the TC too, but like you have had to go for the Arendale instead. But more of a pain to get to, but worth it. I have a 9-10 pickup :)

Reserved a iPhone 6 Plus 128GB in Slate Grey. Looks good with the full black screen.

Will cancel my online order after pick up :)

Thanks guys

I would have thought so, strange how some have left korea though and some haven't?

Good point, don't want to believe it though ;) I have been awaiting an email to inform me of the error, but even ups aren't giving an estimated date. And I trust ups, they are generally pinpoint accurate with dates, so why not give us one? Odd how we all got the rescheduled notification from ups then Apple saying about tommorow.

As cperchard said, this doesn't add up!

Yea 19:10 on 19th, we got on the direct flight to Stanstead ;)

Thinking back I'm almost certain my iPhone 4 on that route came through TNT.

FWIW my UPS iPhone 6 has done the Shenzen -> Hong Kong -> Dubai -> Cologne -> East Mids route. Landed at East Mids and hour or so ago, tracking hasn't update yet, but sounds like they might be joining the batch that's flying in from Warsaw for the final leg.

That's interesting. I wonder why they're doing such strange routes. I thought the Apple consignments used entire planes without any other cargo except Apple hardware. At least, that's what I thought and if that's the case, why ship via a wide variety of routes?

Shanghai, China -> Korea -> Kazakhstan -> Poland -> Germany.. still there right now but I expect it will in the UK before the early morning.

My particular order won't be out for delivery of course. The tracking seems to suggest it will be out for delivery on Tuesday.

That's fine, I'm sure I'll survive :)

Enjoy your iPhone's everyone :)

Cyclists/Cycling cases?

I'm just putting this out here in case there are any cyclists reading..

I've got an iPhone cycling case (a cheapie one that zips up with a clear front). Does anyone know of a decent iPhone 6 compatible handlebar mounted iPhone case yet?

And for that matter; car dashboard mounts - are Proclip still the preferred mounting solution? I can't seem to find an available iPhone 6 compatible mount for Proclip yet.

Just a quick question!

I have placed an online order for a 64gb iPhone Plus (only placed it today though!) so it's nowhere near dispatch...will they have taken my money already?

Or if I'm able to reserve one sooner, do I just cancel my online order?

Thanks

They wont take your money until dispatch, if you do reserve one then wait till you've got it and then cancel online order.

Decisions decisions, I have decided I'm not going to be upgrading again next year as I'm going to keep my 6 for 2 years (this will be a first for me, but the 6 has impressed me far more than the 5 or 5s did).

But...

I only bought a 16GB yesterday, I've never needed more space and even now have over 4.5GB free on it, I keep questioning my decision and think I should rather return the 16GB and get a 64GB as who knows what will happen with capacity requirements in a year?

It's only £80, but it could be £80 wasted if I don't change how I use the phone, but if I do, it means buying another phone next year.

Local Apple Store has the 64GB silver to reserve as well...
