UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

While I was at the Apple store yesterday I had a play with the iPhone 6 and 6 +
Before going to the store I thought I would get the 6 + but after I held it in my hand it just seems too large for normal every day use, my wife picked it up and dropped it accidentally as it was too unwieldy
It is definitely worth going to the store to have a play with both if your thinking of buying 6+

It will be down untill midnight tonight, as was the case yesterday set your alarm for 11.55 and at exactly 12 midnight refresh the reserve page and you'll be able to order as I did.

So to no real surprise neither my apple.com or ups tracking has changed this morning... Apple what are you playing at

My phone was originally due for delivery 29/9-2/10. Just checked UPS tracking page and it is now at East Midland airport and is due for delivery on Monday.

Not 100% sure if this is accurate but I think it's us who has a between the 30 sept and 3 oct who's phones are MIA and last seen in Korea
 
I too was able to reserve a 6 plus last night for in store pickup today makes you wonder if this is 'new' stock or just stock that Apple have held back, that they could have sold yesterday ? :apple:
 
Just managed to reserve 6+ Sg 128 at Bath store and all models of iphone currently available

Well I am hoping Apple put a stop on those pallets of phones due to re-issuing ones from the UK for a delivery this morning. If the original shipping/tracking is still the correct one, then Im not sure how it will get delivered by the end of Monday either.. Apple really need to invest in a new order management system, Hype is fun.. this is frustrating!

It could also be stock from people who didn't make it to collect there reservations.

Mine is still moving? It went from Cologne to Castle Donnington (?!?) and has left there before 6 am this morning. I assume it's o its way to Bristol.
 
My wife and I got our new iPhone 6s via pre order with Vodafone. It has actually been a very smooth process. The phones are absolutely gorgeous and I'm so in love with my white and silver one.

I did have the opportunity to hold the 6 Plus and definitely for me, it is ridiculously too big especially being female. The phone would have covered the entirety of my face when I use it to speak to people. The iPhone 6 is perfect for our needs. The upgrade is significant coming from iPhone 5!

The lovely guys in the store said they only had some 128GB in stock for those that hadn't reserved. But that size isn't overly popular due to the pricing on contract.

I hope everyone gets theirs soon. I guess the Plus is more difficult to get hold of. It is definitely worth the wait though!

I think it's safe to assume that. Mine arrived from castle Todd in stanstead @ 5:08. Only 40mins drive so hella closer.

Apple page is now saying 23rd for delivery. Question is do I give in and go to Stratford to pick one up today... :rolleyes:

Surprised your apple page says 23rd! Did you get that email yesterday to say you will have yours today? If so, call them ask to be given THE date!
 
Btw, a lot of the time the system isn't down, but the GB link caches the auto forward to the apple CDN link....

Use a different machine, a fresh browser etc, clear cache and you'll see it open between midnight and 7pm

Arghhhhh..... No change - still in Korea according to UPS! The email says it will be here today?! So I don't know whether to stay in all day or not!?!?
