Good stuff! Only problem is having two sets of £700 taken out my account. I'm a student (idiotic buying one, I know) so baked beans for a week until the refund comes back for one

It's tough but once the other comes in it will be going straight back. Might be able to get the ball rolling before. Will keep the online order of AppleCare and will get them to link to reserved one...

Hoping they'll have some cases in too...

Why does it say 12-7pm when it's only available for like 20 minutes or does it come up again randomly?. Missed my reservation as I kept getting the silly letters wrong oh well

Don't think you need bank details. Think it just means you need a UK card. I'm pretty sure they won't say no to a credit card!

But anyone else can shed light if they know more...

They need some form of ID to confirm your reservation when you join the "reservation queue". Picked up a reserved phone yesterday (Friday) and had to wait about 1/2 an hour.

Decisions decisions, I have decided I'm not going to be upgrading again next year as I'm going to keep my 6 for 2 years (this will be a first for me, but the 6 has impressed me far more than the 5 or 5s did).

But...

I only bought a 16GB yesterday, I've never needed more space and even now have over 4.5GB free on it, I keep questioning my decision and think I should rather return the 16GB and get a 64GB as who knows what will happen with capacity requirements in a year?

It's only £80, but it could be £80 wasted if I don't change how I use the phone, but if I do, it means buying another phone next year.

Local Apple Store has the 64GB silver to reserve as well...

Longterm will 16gb be enough? If not get the 64gb..

I wasn't asked for any form of ID when collecting my reservation yesterday.

That's just it, I've had 16GB since the 4, never gone over 10GB used, I've reserved a 64GB now, will sleep on it and decide.

It's the decision to keep it longer than 12 months this time that's making me uncertain...

Also worried I might return the perfect 16GB and get a 64GB with a flaw .

Then check the 64gb before you leave the store, help relieve your fears.

Quick question...

I reserved my 6+ for collection tomorrow. I have an online order for the same phone and a leather case. I'm going to cancel the order for the phone but the case has been dispatched and has an estimated delivery of mid next week. If I buy a case when I collect tomorrow how easy will it be to return the extra case? If I have to pay P+P costs I'll probably hold on for the delivered case.

Pretty sure you can get a return bag from apple..

I've reserved 64GB iPhone 6 Space Grey from Trafford Centre from 1pm.

Anyone any idea of what the cue will be like?

I'm going to upgrade my O2 simplicity beforehand to 4G just gone online and it won't let me but they did say in the store that I will be able to.

Excited for tomorrow now!

Couple of questions.

Is the reserve and collect sim free only? Or can I reserve and then use that to upgrade my O2 contract for instance?

The shipment on its way over, will that be ALL for Apple? Or will some of that be distributed around to the networks too?

You can only use a phone from the Apple Store to use with an upgraded SIM free contract. Otherwise you have to get the phone through O2 when upgrading assuming they have stock.

As for your second question I'm not sure what you mean about the shipment on it's way over but if it's the phones people are discussing here then those are their own individual preorders coming from China. If you need to get your phone from a carrier specific store then you need to ask them about stock allocations.

Thanks you. Thought that was the case with the upgrade, I know for the 4 they did upgrades in store so wasn't sure if this would be something they were doing again.

As for my second question, I have mine on order from O2 and just wondered if the shipment coming over would be split between networks and also apple pre-orders.

Delighted with my iPhone 6 so far. Huge upgrade from my 4S of almost 3 years.

I'm at 4 hours of regular usage (actually probably a bit more than regular since I've been using it almost non stop) and the battery is still at 57%. It will probably be a little higher when I manage to calibrate the battery too. My old 4S would be hovering under 10% right about now.

The only decision left to make is whether to buy AppleCare. I've never bought it for any iPhones before and don't really see any need now. Still have about 60 days to decide, though.

Ordered 2 iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey last night at 00.01 last night
Cancelled my online order which was 3-4 weeks (I will cancel online order when I collect my iPhone's from the store later today) I recommend going online at midnight and try to reserve for in store pick up like I did.
Here's the link if you need it.

Good luck with your orders

Wow I thought you could only reserve one ,lucky you :),

Does anyone have any recommendations for insurance?

I was going to settle with the oeace of mind that my home contents would cover it but would prefer something more substantial that provides replacement next day etc.

Endsleigh looked good but is it just for students?

I think it's one reservation for a max of two phones.

Got my iPhone 6 yesterday - it is amazing!

6+ is nice too - but for my uses, a bit too big however people who want a bigger phablet size iPhone - you guys will LOVE it!
