UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Since i never had a 5S, is the touch ID home button a little... Clickier than the old home buttons? Or is mine a little faulty... Works fine though.

Also hate the case i bought... Spigen Neo thingy, way to bulky it ruins the shape of the phone in my opinion.

So many similar thoughts here too. Also a 64GB iPhone 6 Space Grey.

I moved up from a 4S, so not only is the touch ID new to me and I'm finding it "clickier" than the 4S which was more spongey feeling and didn't make a click.

Also bought a Spigen case, but the black Case Capsule one. Case is good, it fits really well and doesn't add lots of bulk (iPhone 6 is so thin and light compared with the 4S!) it's almost like there isn't a case there compared with some of the case photos I've seen online. However it has a moulding seam all the way around the edge, all four edges - this doesn't show anywhere on the product photos, where it shows a nice smooth curved edge, much like the body of the phone itself. I'm wondering if it's a production fault on this specific Spigen case, as it's exactly where your finger tips are when holding the phone and I'm fairly sure it shouldn't be like that. Anyone else got similar?

I have to say i reckon it'll be a marmite phone,

Personally i was worried about its size but now i have it, i love it! yeah its a bit big but more than manageable for me

Fingers crossed you guys get your phones today!

Nope still in Korea, UPS said probably Monday when I called them earlier. Also on hold trying to talk to Apple now.
 
Im also debating returning my 6+ feels big big for a 5'1 girl lol whats the procedure for returns if bought online?

I had 30-3, received email yesterday from apple, but it's still in Korea (19:10 arrival) :-/

There's a bunch of us in the same 30-3 boat stuck in Korea......interested to see if any of us get today cos then surely all of us would if we all had this random email yesterday!

I had a reservation for pickup yesterday and Apple were only interested in me proving I was the person who made the reservation. They wanted to see my driving license OR my bank card for ID purposes. The actual payment for the iPhone was made by credit card if that helps.

Oh, and just so you know, don't expect the Apple store to have any official leather cases in stock. The one I went to didn't have anything left other than that nasty pink/flesh coloured one.

You would like to think if the email was sent in error, that they could have sent another update. Whats confusing now is all my delivery dates have vanished from both Apple and UPS..

Apple site still saying 22nd for me.....UPS hasn't changed since 19:10 Korea time, no estimate......dunno what to think lol
 
My iPhone 6 is apparently still in Shanghai but it's supposed to be delivered on Monday? It's been in Shanghai since 8:33pm yesterday China time! :(

For the people who have had there's delivered, what was your UPS saying when it was delivered?

So just off the phone with Apple, he said to ask UPS about the status. I asked if that email yesterday was a mistake about being delivered today and he said no it wasn't, but he said it was looking likely mine would arrive on Monday if it's not in the UK now.

Apple may have a phone that" just works" but clearly their order management and shipping system doesn't..

Just off the phone to Apple, I was just told if the email said today then it would be today... go figure...

Thats exactly what I have done, I think its strange all the dates have now vanished from my order page but that could be due to the info it takes from UPS.

Mine still says 22nd (order status) , UPS shows nothing. Then the beautiful email from last night. Place your bets ...
 
mine was due between 29/09 and 2/10, then got the text and email about delivery today. Luckily its going to a business that is open today, but can i really trust it'll arrive today?

it needs to be in Hampshire, a distance of 154 miles which Google says will take over 3 hours, so it should be near me by now :( i'll be really miffed if i don't get it till Monday, but its much better than waiting till 29/09 :D.
 
Ok 30-3 Korea 19:10 gang.....just got off the phone to UPs and they are adamant that it's gonna be delivered Monday.....they reckon mine is still in transit and the next scan will be at my exeter depot.....I asked them about the Apple email and they don't know cos it isn't in UK yet but apparently is moving, so Monday is best bet.

I'm giving up hope of today and will be pleasantly surprised if it does come. If I'm in i will be happy but if not then at worst I can collect Monday.

Please anyone else in same boat as me let me know if any of you get yours today.

Just got off the phone with Apple CS who informed me that emails sent out to customers yesterday were sent in error due to a system outage and they're advising everyone to go with their original delivery estimates (the one in the dispatch notification, not the original order confirmation email, that is).

I've also confirmed with UPS, who have said the exact same thing.

For reference, I'm waiting for a 6 Plus with a dispatch on 19/09 and an estimated delivery of 22/09 - my original delivery date was 30/09 - 03/10.

So confusing though as somebody else in the exact same situation had theirs delivered half an hour ago :/
