If Apple have re-allocated stock to make sure people get them today, it would be logical that Apple would place a hold on that shipment. At some point that would also need to be re-allocated, so at this point who knows.. All I know is if it doesn't show today now I have taken an extra day off.. I won't be happy

I guess it is abnormal, but I'd rather drive 2.5hrs (5 hr round trip) then queue outside Meadowhall for 3hrs (which is what I did yesterday) haha.

I got the email from Apple as well yesterday giving a delivery date of today. According to UPS tracking it is currently in Abingdon so am feeling hopeful...
My phone it's in tamworth (@5am). Which isn't far at all from where I live in Birmingham!

Why did apple email me saying upgraded to today? Tried calling them but gave up after half an hour, do I have to stay in its not!?!?

I now have iPhone 5s and decided not to buy iPhone 6 Plus.
After walking to a retail store and have a look on iPhone 6 Plus, I instantly changed my mind.
I came back home and posted online to sell the phone. I hope I can sell it soon.
I have tried the online reservation since last night. No luck at all.
I think I will try again tonight and see if I can get one.
Otherwise, I have to live without iPhone for a month ahhh.

Good idea, let us know please! Tell them there's a bunch of us in same scenario with this apparent UPS stuck in Korea but delivery today somehow!

Same here. It's tempting to go over and pick it up as I'm off to london at lunch time and knowing my luck, it will be delivered after I've left. Lol.
Though UPS tracking still says Monday. I wouldn't even be expecting it today if it wasn't for Apple's email.
Great last night had departure but now it's still there at clearing:/ delivery date of 22/09/14 is now Change Delivery

I also received the e mail from Apple yesterday re delivery today.
The UPS tracking says the package has arrived at my local depot (Barking) but delivery scheduled for Monday.
Have just called UPS to find out if it is coming today or Monday and have been told the package is out with the driver and should be with me by 1pm

Mine went from Dubai to Koeln, than to Castle Donington?, and at 7 am the last check in the system shows was Stansted Airport. I highly doubt it will be actually delivered today.
Same timeline here. Mine arrived at Bristol at 7.15 this morning. Wonder if I could go pick it up there.
after all that........im returning my 6 plus to apple. its lovely but i just dont think i will get used to the size, thats what i get for ordering blind!
I rang UPS, the guy was well aware of the emails being sent out from Apple. He confirmed that my package was still in Korea, and even though the delivery date isn't shown on my tracking page, it is still scheduled for Monday. So no magical stock reassignment, just delivery as normal, which is still better than the original Sep 30th quote
Odd - my 22nd UPS delivery via Dubai that went to Stanstead overnight now no longer has a delivery date and says information not available.
It may be delivered today after all. Not that it maters as going to work and will only get my hands on it onMonday - but great fun watching it go.

Looks like I might have to drive over to the office and pick it up. Place is being renovated over the weekend and I don't want some dodgy decorating tea-leafing it. Argh! Lol
I'm in the same boat guys, email received from Apple saying delivery changed to 20/09/14, and phone is currently stuck in Korea, I will update here if I hear anything else, fingers crossed Apple are working on a miracle for us!
