My midnight reservation for collection from Apple Store lakeside, was also a no go. Glitch, says the email they just sent. Lakeside have nothing
At least you got an email.
Cost me 3 hours, a gallon of diesel and £7.50 parking

Cos at the moment us Korea 19:10 ppl haven't had any movement since yesterday morning......so I'm wondering whether we are actually going to get it next week at all......our shipment could have been lost or something......as long as I get a status update soon so I know it's actually on the move I'll be fine![]()
Calm down, dear. It's just a delivery.
I'm in the same group ("us Korea 19:10 ppl"). The last update I received was the email from Apple, about 25 hours ago. That doesn't seem too long ago to me.
I don't need another status update unless and until Apple and/or UPS are ready to issue one. I can also monitor the UPS tracking in case it changes.
If it turns up today, great. If not, I'll still be happy to receive it on Monday or Tuesday - either way, that will still be at least one full week sooner than when I was originally told I could expect to receive it.
What's clear to me is that Apple - and UPS - are making a monumental effort to get our iPhones to us as soon as they possibly can. And much, much sooner than we agreed to wait when we bought them. It's an amazing feat of logistics and we shouldn't be surprised at or overly critical of an occasional hiccup.
If I get my iPhone a week early (or more), that will be great service from Apple.
Worrying about whether the shipment could have been lost is pointless. People at UPS and Apple are paid to worry about that, so we don't have to.
You WILL get your iPhone.
You can drive yourself insane with worry beforehand if you like, but it won't change your delivery date or time. Just your health.
In the meantime, let's all leave Apple (and UPS, for that matter) free to help customers who actually need them. Imagine if your Mac / iPhone / iPad crashed and you had to wait two hours on the phone for help, all wasted behind people who just wanted personal updates about their earlier than expected deliveries!
I've just got off the phone to UPS Customer Services.
I asked where my parcel was and she confirmed it was in Shanghai in China waiting to come over to the UK but it would 100% be delivered by the end of the day on Monday 22nd![]()
She said the ones stuck in China are waiting for a flight to the UK and so are the ones stuck in Korea. She said they should go today for arrival in the UK tomorrow.
I just hope my iPhone comes on Monday like planned!![]()
Really good service at the Apple Store in Milton Keynes today. Reserved at 00:04 this morning for 10am-11am, went to the store. Had to stand in a line for about 3 minutes with other people who had reserved but then no issues getting my iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey.
Really don't know why people would camp out overnight when you can just wait ONE DAY and then it is as painless as this.
Yep, another left from Korea for Shenzhen too, that's UPS195, that seems to cover all places they're stuck at the moment. Shanghai, Shenzhen and Incheon.
2 planes to pick them all up and get them over here for Monday deliveries!

Yeah that does make senseI'm going too be obsessed with watching these bastard planes now lol.
I don't understand why they would go to Korea when they are made in China just to come back to China before getting on another plane to the UK?
I think if "any of us 19:10 hrs Korea people" had received a delivery then we ALL MIGHT? Doesn't sound like ANY of the Korea lot has though does it?
Perhaps the plane for yesterday from Korea that was planned broke or something? This is the backup plan in operation.
All just theories and probably incorrect

On a side note... these Apple themed U2 adverts in EVERY ad break in the F1 coverage are starting to annoy me. Managed to get it out of my iTunes and now I still hear U2 on the TV! Grr.![]()
Delighted with my iPhone 6 so far. Huge upgrade from my 4S of almost 3 years.
I'm at 4 hours of regular usage (actually probably a bit more than regular since I've been using it almost non stop) and the battery is still at 57%. It will probably be a little higher when I manage to calibrate the battery too. My old 4S would be hovering under 10% right about now.
The only decision left to make is whether to buy AppleCare. I've never bought it for any iPhones before and don't really see any need now. Still have about 60 days to decide, though.
Im assuming the Apple Stores are out of stock of the Apple cases?
Wish i picked one up now, as they seem to look quite nice.
if you weren't that bothered about your delivery why are you here at all huh?
Besides.....I didn't agree to 7-10 days.... /// on the final confirmation click to buy, it decided to change at the last minute to 7-10 days
When does yours say it will be delivered on your Apple Order Status page?
22nd for me.
