UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Mine has been like this since 1:33pm yesterday UK time. 'Shanghai, China 09/19/2014 8:33 P.M. - Pkg shipped; delivery being scheduled'.

On my Apple Order Status it says delivery on 22nd, I also rang up UPS CS and they said it would be delivered Monday too?

On the UPS website it says 'Rescheduled Delivery'?

Where does UPS say your iPhone is now?

By which time my parking cost had jumped significantly and I'd wiped my current phone for the trade-in. I'm beyond angry! (although sympathetic to those that are told to break the news to customers like me).

Yes I also had a 6+ 128 reserved and no phone call and was left waiting for 20 minutes while they tried to find one for me to no avail, and then store manager broke the news. Fortunately they still had 64gb they were able to offer instead as well as the free case and £25 gift card. I wanted the 64gb any way but the 128 was the only one available to reserve so it actually worked out better for me!
 
Well, I picked mine up today after reserving last night. It was flawless. Busy, but flawless. I was out within 15 minutes.

The staff were telling ALL walk-ins there were no stock of any size and the only way to get a phone was to reserve the night before from midnight so it's obviously an on-going thing.

Just cancelled my online order with a 3/4 week lead time. Feels so good in the hand ;)

As I had 5s previously, I can tell you that the sound is likely to disappear after few days/weeks depending on your usage. It's just the sound of a brand new beauty you have :cool:

Hi guys,

Like the rest of you I just want to know when I need to be here to take delivery. Got the apple email saying today (20th), web order states Monday (22nd), just checked UPS again, they say 'no delivery schedule available' but if I click on 'live chat' at the bottom (suggested by someone else on here) I get scheduled delivery for Tuesday (23rd)!! Given today is extremely unlikely - not impossible but unlikely. I now still have 2 possible delivery dates...

It is not practical to ensure I'm here for another 2 days! Tried to call apple but after 2hrs on hold, decided to give up. will ring UPS Monday and try to get an answer from them.

this sucks balls. well done :apple: lol
 
Got the last iphone 6 at Bromley this morning though I wanted the 6+ unopened and waiting to see if I can reserve one for tonight and return the 6

Tell me about it, surely someone at Apple or UPS have had enough time now to tell us one way or the other what is going on.....I couldn't give a monkeys what day next week it is, as long as I know which day I need to ask my wife to stay in for!!!

When I called Apple earlier they said that the UPS has stopped realtime tracking and should update later tonight. which would explain why nobody seems to be seeing any movement.

Same here. Reserved just after midnight, drove to Cambridge this morning and stood in the reservation queue for 40 minutes before finally getting into the shop.

Then to be told that the reservation system wasn't working properly, and they'd got no phone for me... :(

Would have thought they could have checked everyone's order while they were still in the queue.

Not happy.

No, they haven't stopped real-time tracking, that would be pointless. We should all start seeing movement by the end of the night today if we are in fact getting them on Monday.

Impossible to trust what Apple/UPS are saying as they're telling everyone something different.

Everyone else that was delivered today had tracking info that was accurate and updated whilst on the move, ours look to be just stuck waiting. If it was on the move it would have been delivered today like the others.

It should start moving soon, if they leave China tonight they will be in the UK by tomorrow afternoon :) ready to be sorted by UK mail and delivered on Monday.

That's my theory anyway! :D

If that's the case, surely you could just stop worrying about it and wait? Should you happen to get the delivery when nobody's home, they'll leave a card - and you can reschedule for a known date.

And all these people waiting on the freephone line to Apple for ages, desperate for a personal delivery update... We wonder why Apple's prices are so high - who do we think ends up paying for all these "free" calls, which aren't really necessary at all?

Just got back from Apple store. Had to queue in the reservation line for about 15 minutes. No biggie.

Glad I didn't pre order as it seems there aeems to be a lot of stock in supply. People were walking in and buying iPhone 6's without a problem. There were no iPhone 6 plus' though.

It's such a GORGEOUS phone.

I know the exception status is not good at all just hope that it doesn't get delayed :( but most prob is, hopefully their tracking system is just delayed and your (and hopefully mine) is moving. called apple their system says its on time for 22nd they looked at the ups tracking and said they don't know what that exception status means, I got them to request hold for collection and was told they will call when it's ready to pick fringers crossed for Monday! Got the day off
