UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

I too received the email yesterday saying i'd get my 6 Plus 128Gb today (20th).

Some details: Ordered 12th Sept @ 8.42am (time of confirmation email) - delivery date was 30th Sept - 3rd Oct.

According to UPS i am in the 19:10 Incheon Korea group

I waited 2 hours on the phone to talk to apple (spoke to them at 15:00). They said that Apple WILL honour delivery on the 20th for EVERYONE that received the email - she was certain about this (read into that what you will).

She mentioned that although UPS offices close at 2pm, they have an "exception" with UPS to deliver all the phones today to people who have received the emails. In her words "we just don't know what time it will be, could be as late as 10, but you will get your iPhone 6 Plus today".

I hope she's right - I'm a contractor so taking time off work waiting for deliveries hurts the paycheck quite a bit :(

I was in the same position as you and no iPhone arrived. Did your turn up?

I used it very heavily and in 18hrs, 4G internet browsing, apps, social networking, spotify; it was about 49%!
 
No change to my status. 10 to 17th October but don't lose hope to those in same position. You should see a change soon I hope maybe by Tuesday

Does anyone know what the next destination is for the Korea Incheon shipment?

Search for the same phone that you're selling, then check the "sold listings" box to see what others are actually getting (could be very different to what others are listing for).

Be extra careful not to do anything that could void your eBay seller protection. For example:

I have previously sold an iPhone via eBay to a buyer who turned out to be fraudulent. However, seller protection meant that I got to keep the sale proceeds, because I'd complied fully with eBay's and PayPal's rules.

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 21/09/2014 11:50 Departure Scan

I think it already landed/left Almaty and is halfway to Warsaw. I think it will then go to Cologne then onto the UK for delivery tomorrow. (same routing/timings as my colleagues on Friday and he got it on Saturday)

Yes I get this on tracking but then again I also got a email off Apple saying it's being delivered on Saturday

Asking people now is kinda irrelevent ... takes a few cycles for lithium batteries to 'break in' and also people will be over-using new iPhone's + iOS8 will take a day or two to settle due to spotlight indexing and other things.

There was a lot of lies flying around from Apple/UPS about tracking being disabled for security purposes and deliveries on Saturday and UPS delivering until 10pm on Saturday.

Trust the UPS tracking... once Apple hand it over to UPS, Apple have no clue about your package, they can go as far as asking UPS to work on a Saturday to deliver your stuff, but only if they're in the country :)

Monday looking very likely... worst case is Tuesday.

I was thinking Saturday shipping is usually a lot more but didn't stop me waiting in all day like a excited kid at Christmas.

Monday would be awesome though

Mine is currently over Turkey on it's way to Cologne :) I have turned into a plane spotter on this Flight Radar 24 haha.
 
Confused as to where this order is as it's been in transit from 10:29am Saturday? They also left it at a facility on launch day? It was ordered before 9 on the 12th delivery date 19th

If your phone has landed in Almaty you will receive a Arrival and Departure scan before it takes off again.

Mine is currently over Turkey on it's way to Cologne :) I have turned into a plane spotter on this Flight Radar 24 haha.

Haha lol thanks! Mine got to Dubai at 7:10 so surely must of moved by now then :/ I gonna look at this flight radar and see if I can tell what plane my phone is on

All I know is that the USA version of UPS tracking says delivery will be Tuesday.....I'm gonna wake up tomorrow thinking it's not gonna be delivered when I check the latest tracking, but if it happens to say "out for delivery" I will take that as a bonus.

Looks like it's at your local depot for delivery tomorrow. No idea why they would delay it for a business day though.

Yeah but they're delayed. My colleague's arrive/departure scans for Almaty didn't show up on UPS tracking until around 3:15pm on Friday, the flight that left Korea for Almaty left at exactly the same time as the one on Friday too... so hoping that in 30 minutes I'll see a status update.

Is like to act like that but I'm far too obsessive. Been grumpy all weekend as mine didn't come yesterday as per Apple's email.

I hope so, however it's been there since Friday morning and apparently been in transit for over 24 hours. It's quite worrying
