UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Did anyone else get an email saying that their iPhone will now be delivered on the 20th September? I took a day off of work yesterday and it never turned up, phoned up to complain and they basically just said "Too bad". Hooray lost wages...

Hopefully mine isn't too far behind! Nothing on UPS but just notice status on Apple now says:

Status In Transit to Customer- Shipment on Schedule 21 Sep

Ever thought of actually phoning UPS like I did? They told me Monday so i ended up going out. If I was you instead of losing wages I would have either taken it as holiday, or better still just gone to work and if it came then u could collect Monday at lunch or something!

I was literally telling all the Korea 19:10 ppl all day yesterday that it wasn't going to come.

Time to stop stressing. Phones have clearly left Korea and the only logical flight they took has landed in cologne. I'm far more happuer knowing they are in Europe than the far east.

Given that we've not seen a arfive/depart scan for Almaty yet we may not see one until they hit a UK depot
 
Am I being nieve in thinking that the longer it is not updating, the more chance it's got of actually being on a direct flight to UK? :eek:

No you are right in assuming that. Either say most likely you will get your hands on it tomorrow.

Now I'm even more confused hahaha.....oh well, Even tho I've been expecting it tuesday, ive been lured in by all the rest of you into thinking we may actually get it tomorrow now then......now my only problem is my mrs is gonna be out the house from 07:40 to 11:30....so I actually want a late delivery so we don't miss it, haha.....but I suppose worse case scenario for me is still Tuesday, cos surely I could collect it Tuesday if I miss delivery tomorrow?

Didn't mean it like that, I believe Aaron's left Dubai around 2:30ish and got to Germany 6:53 but mine left Dubai at 5:59 and got there 7:12 only 19 mintues later then aarons

Just notice that mines an import scan not an Arrival Scan, no difference though right?

I'm sure if you miss delivery then yeah you can collect next day.

Ah. Well I don't appreciate being messed around lol. I'm confused... Mine was updated this morning, but said 11:50 am 21st but at the time it hadn't even passed 11:50am in East America which I now realise.

Edit: 11:50am not 11:00am lol

You can collect it from your UPS Depot after 6pm on the day of attempted delivery. Just call ahead they have it ready. Not that Ive done this before lol

I could cancel my Space Grey 64GB 6 plus order and go for that.

I would cost me an extra £130 up front (£280) but would cost £8 less a month for the same deal. Thats a saving of £192 which covers off the extra cost of the upgrade.

Plus I have £45 credit on my account!

The plus would cost me £1194 total, the 6 would cost me £1087 total and I'd get double the storage!

1.Carphone warehouse don't sell truly unlocked phones 2.There are a lot of very good sim only deals out there and you won't be tied into a 24 month contract so i would say buy your sim free from apple

With all due respect, is there really a need to keep spamming the URL to your website?

I know you want to make money by getting people to sign up for text alerts, but it's a bit tiresome now IMO.
