The only thing that has been out of the norm for this launch/delivery is the silly misleading email from Apple. Had people not received this people would not have been stressing. I have had BTO iMacs shipped from China in just over a day thanks to the time difference.

But does anyone know why there was literally no movement yesterday at all, and also most of Friday? Why would it just have been sat in Korea for ages? Seems weird!

I would have probably still been stressing lol... Having your Phone stuck in Korea all weekend is pretty worrying.
Go to UPS website and see if your apple order number works.....go to track by reference, not by number which is the default! See if that works for you.
I'm also in the 30-03 group but did get a Dispatched email on Friday with a deliver-by date of 26/9 so we might still have a few more days to go.
Its not actually that strange, these people do this everyday and we have to trust that they know what they are doing. To be honest I could show you the tracking for my BTO 27" iMac almost the same thing happened. Apple have booked every bit of space on any flight going to make sure they get phones in the UK as soon as possible and whilst I like you and everyone else are a bit miffed by the email, as long as it gets here Monday or Tuesday its still way ahead of the 30/9-3/10 date given..
Doesn't work for me. Mine was despatched on Friday 19th and the UPS tracking number is supposed to come up within 24-48 hours but it hasn't.
Yup I'd be well chuffed with that.....literally the only time I had any hope of it being Saturday delivery was from when we got the email, till the time I phoned UPS first thing Saturday morning......they told me Monday so I stopped getting my hopes up......a lot of people were miffed yesterday that it didn't turn up cos they were really hoping the email was fact, no matter how many times I tried to convince them it was gonna be Monday at the earliest.
That email was crazy. I believe many people was dragged a whole day with that insane information. The phone was in Korea by the time.
Yours has actually been dispatched and it doesn't work?? Mine started working even when it was "preparing for dispatch".....I take it you're definitely trying the right place?
A lot of us were able to track using our apple order number rather than ups ref. If that doest work then its not been allocated to ups I'd assume
I know some people say that email was sent in error, but some people did intact get their iPhones early just not us :roll eyes: but in my personal opinion Apple could have sent that email saying we hope to get it too you sooner or just deliver it early. On this occasion they over promised and under delivered. But I have got a new iPhone every launch and this is the first time I have had an issue like this..

Not always, sometimes they bring phones on a pallet to Tamworth and then it is allocated to you along with tracking details. I think they have just taken what ever they can this time round to get them to us..
I think the only people that got it were in the 29th to 2nd group......so I was telling all the Korea 19:10 people to give up hope cos ours wouldn't be part of it.
Didn't seem to work for me. Must not have been shipped yet.

I was in the Korea 7:10 gang, I received my email from Apple on Friday. My delivery didn't happen on Saturday as stated. I checked UPS about 6am this morning and it was still showing as Korea. I phoned Apple around 1pm, gave my order number and was assured that the phones were already in the UK but UPS just hadn't updated. They sincerely apologised and said my delivery would be tomorrow. I have just seen the latest update from UPS re the departure from Korea and am now very confused as I think Korea are about 4hrs ahead - would the phones have arrived in the UK by 1pm when I spoke to Apple?

So it's landed in Cologne. Anyone know which plane is heading to the UK? Give me clues comrades!
Last night was between 2-3am, would be surprised if they had any new stock tonight as no deliveries on Sunday.
