Dont know if this helps but I have heard that there might be some changes to the status in the following week.

Thanks. I keep trying to find people that say theirs arrived early to make me feel better about the wait... Can I ask when yours changed to preparing for dispatch? like a couple of days before? or earlier? Judging on the response I'm hoping for mine around October 1st

I'd be excited to :D I should imagine you'll have your iPhone this time next week. My original delivery date was between 1st - 6th October but it arrived today :)
 
Three store order - iPhone 6+ 64 GB

Hi, Waiting on my pre-order from Three (pre-ordered in store),
when ordered they said Friday 19th at first, when I called them on Friday they said it was going to be first week in October.
Seems as though that some pre-orders are getting shipped earlier - anyone else pre-ordered with Three and any updates?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I had the exact same text message from Apple on Friday... Here we are Monday and still no delivery estimate let alone a phone... On the other hand, my delivery is handled - seems like quite a loose use of the word - by UKMail.
 
Yay my iPhone 6+ arrived at 8.30am this morning. Loving it more than any iPhone I have had so far, the extra screen space is awesome and it just feels so good in my hand. It's been a stressful few days but now I can relax :)

Same story as yours. I was told the 3/10/14, but they lied before saying I was going to get my handset on the 19/9/14. :(

That would be sweet the other half has already got her 6 and I've sold our 5s's and now I'm stuck with an lg g2 and it just aint cutting the mustard :D

I ordered a 128gb 4.7" late afternoon on 12/09 and it was preparing for shipment as of early on 17/09 and it was dispatched early on the 18/09. So once it says preparing... It's pretty close to leaving the factory, if it hasn't already gone out. Another way to check is your credit card - it'll be charged on day of dispatch and your online apple support profile should show your new device.
 
Called UPS customer service, they told me that it should be possible to collect it from the Kentish Town depot and I can go after they will call me back within an hour. Why do I have a feeling that they will never call back?? :mad:

I can't find direct number of the depot...

And Apple is just taking the piss - just got a text from them that I'm getting my phone today. What's wrong with them?

Maybe same game as on Saturday? None of us were showing as out for delivery as ups didn't have time to scan every single parcel on the vans... Maybe the same is happening with you today?

I'm on the same bracket as you and I keep checking the order page constantly and no joy?

I ordered at 9.06am, what about you?

I need to be put out of my misery. So does my wife. I think she is getting fed up with my running commentary and having my eyes glued to a screen.

Hopefully we will get an update in the next couple of days.

I want to be tracking some planes god dammit!

Well I spoke on chat to a lady about 10 mins ago, most likely to get some change in the next few days, she said maybe late tues/wed morning to have delivery by friday or the monday after. I ordered at 9.31am still processing. My boyfriend is tearing his hair at my complaints whilst boasting about having an iPhone 6 plus lol but hopefully soon and then yeah we can track planes too!

I don't care what their excuse is, at least Apple shouldn't have notified me twice about delivery that was not going to happen. I waited like a moron on Saturday, and took time off work today...
 
Congrats to those who received their new shiny new iPhone 6 & 6 Plus, I hope you enjoying it like I have for past few days :D.

Mate i literaly cant find the exeter depot's number.....all i can see is the 0845 number which is general customer services.......any chance you can help? Exeter starts 01392 if you need it but i cant see one? :(

I completely understand your frustration and if I was in your shoes I would complain to Apple for misleading you and potentially loosing you money/holidays...
