UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

A friend of mine has been seriously let down by EE today. He finally received his slate Grey iPhone 6 and it's a 16gb instead of a 64gb! It seems the person on the other end of the phone messed up. He now has to cancel the contract, pay to return the phone, and wait possibly another 3 weeks to a month for a new device. They won't even send a courier to pick it up. They were quite evasive on the phone when he reported it and they reviewed the call before declaring it was their fault, no apology followed. Bad customer service and he's now considering another network.

Haha... mine faded in the sun. Wish they made a darker one, Space Grey? No. Space is black.... make a black one. Love the colour of my 5... think i'll just use a black thin case to hide it.

Battery down to 44% already, got it at about noon and it was on 98% out of the box. Been playing with it A LOT though. :)

What kind of forced restart is that? Rebooting by holding the power button until 'slide to power off' appears?

6+? thats a lot of juice you've sucked out the phone already..
 
Can anyone help? I have a 6+ but it's only 16GB. I've ordered a 128GB. How can I use the 16GB just to try it out? It keeps saying I don't have enough space. What's the best way to manage with 16GB?

did you restore from backup?

thats probably filled yoiur phone.. best option is to restore and start as a new device, dont restore from a previous backup or import in anything

Mine was supposed to be delivered to City of London on Friday, got a delivery time in the end of 18-19:30, so waited behind at work. The driver never showed but I was told he would before 8pm so I waited till then. Gave up in the end and rang UK mail on Saturday morning who said it would be with me between 9-6 today. Logged into UK Mail this morning only to see that my parcel is still apparently out for delivery from Friday.

So after another frustrated call to UK Mail apparently the driver tried at midnight on Friday, which the call centre guy said must be wrong. He couldn't actually locate my parcel at all in the end. He is going to get the depot to call me asap but I don't hold out much hope. Seems whoever they employed to deliver to the city which I have no doubt will have had a lot of iPhone orders on Friday has really messed up.

On my side, the status of the delivery has been updated to say "22/09/2014 between 16:56 and 17:56" but still with a status of delayed...

We'll see if anything comes.

Ah, right. So I restore as a new phone then when I get the bigger one I can restore from an earlier backup?
 
So most of you have your phones now so now its just a wait for the 10th Oct and beyond orders. I might lose my sanity before that happens, well what is left of it.
 
Hi ladies & gents! I've been using my iPhone 6 plus since launch and I must say that I'm loving it! The main difference was screen size and battery life. Yesterday, I got to 40% battery on 8 hours of usage. My brother got the 6 and tbh, the 6 is a better size. The reason why I chose the plus is because of "MovieBox" for videos, streaming and battery life. I hope everyone else receive their brand new iPhone 6 & Plus asap without problems! Have a good day!
 
Overslept today so wasnt able to get down to Cambridge for my reservation :( Oh well. Gonna be tied up with work for a while now so will probably just wait for my online order to come in.

Still listed as Processing Items (15th - 22nd October delivery)
