Whats the problem - missed reservations? I don't check so often now, but if I see anything come into stock, I try to post here for those not using the push script thing.

No I can't reserve as closest apple store 2 hours too far. I'm waiting for my order to finally change to at least preparing for dispatch.

Sorry missed the questions.... 1) They asked for my name. Didn't ask for ID. Pretty sure you'd need to goto bullring UNLESS you get an understanding manager or maybe ring them from the manchester store? I received an email saying the management team as a group had my name, and it wouldn't be a problem to go in anytime and pick it up. I guess then, your name WILL be in bullring somewhere, so manchester could liase with them?

I was told when I was phoned on Saturday that I could redeem it anywhere. It's just I've not heard any details about how I do redeem it.
 
I have created the python file and run the script it shows as

"24.Sep.14/11:03AM: Finished checking..."

the script is not moving after this, is this correct?
As I was typing it now shows

"24.Sep.14/11:37AM: Finished checking..."

I have the app running in the background but it seems like it only refreshes when the app is open and my screen is unlocked?

Any help would be great thanks

Owch.

I think if I lived 2 hours away from an apple store I'd be a suicide risk.

I'm always in there, taking stuff back, being a pain in the ass, etc etc.

My online order was 10-17th and never changed :(

Oh for clarifty - it's just an apple retail gift card - it can be used anywhere. But I suspect they may have wanted you to 'claim' it at bullring.

Actually thinking about it, meadowhall asked if they were my closest store so they will probably do it - ring bullring and ask though.

I am going nuts! Lucky for you LOL I wish I could just pop in the apple store and pick up a reservation haha. Mine was 10th-17th but then it got put to 7th-10th and since everyone was receiving there's early also so many cancellations you would've thought mine would dispatch now -_-

Anyone who needs to be notified via PUSH when stock arrives for the phone they are after, go to appstore and install pushbullet, set it up (should take a couple minutes) then on your pc, go to www.pushbullet.com and login then click account settings and then private message me with your access token/api key, the phone models you are after and what stores your prepared to go to.
the minute stock arrives you will be push notified every minute that stock is in (so be prepared for a fair amount noise when they do restock!)
Have https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/GB/en_GB/reserve/iPhone/availability ready so when you do get those messages u can jump on it asap and reserve =) also when u have reserved and no longer need the notifications, let me kno and ill stop them being sent to you =)

For a change, it feels like this thread is helping us lot (real apple fans) get reservations.

Although its annoying at times I'd happily keep this reservation system for future launches.

Yes agreed reservations gives people a chance to get the phone they want.
