UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

I have a black plus with a red case :)

Trinity is weird - trinity car park isn't actually next to trinity. Apple Store is nice though

And yeh it's still big but I like the black slab of tech look and the screen is miles better than the 6.

Hopefully I'll force myself to get along with it this time!
 
Am I the only one whose 6 is coming from Shenzhen?

Nope. Mine left there on the 25th. Next stop was Chek Lap Kok then Dubai. It left Dubai 3 hours ago, next stop must likely Cologne in Germany before UK. Hoping mine comes before Wednesday. When did you order yours?

Print the screen repair page showing the cost as £79 and go back into the Apple Store with it (have the link handy as well, in case they want to see it live on their website), if the genius still persists with denying the screen repair cost as shown, ask for a supervisor or manager and escalate the complaint.

They should sort it if you are firm and friendly, push all the way to store manager if you have to.

Thanks for that, great advice. I was a bit surprised at their 'no' attitude as Apple's service is usually top notch.
My problem now is that it takes almost a week to book a genius appointment. I think ill phone the store tomorrow.

I do still have to take the 6 back... Which will be embarrassing but I'm running out of Apple stores to use - might have to go Trafford centre now :p

Thanks Zetti, to be honest I feel better now, because at least I know it will be soon. Tracking it will be the fun part, hopefully it's with me by next Friday! :)

These prices are for AppleCare+ customers, I believe.

If it's dropped and you don't have AppleCare+ it is upwards of £200 - about £270 I think.
 
After a ridiculously busy week at work, I am struggling to keep my eyes open for reservations here. If they're not up by 5 past, then I'm off to bed.
