Suppose it relates to whether you live in the back of beyond or not. I don't.

As much I'd like it next Friday, I'd just like to receive it in the first window and not fall into the dread 2-4 weeks category.
 
If i reserve one, do i have to pay for it now? or when i get to the store? Because if i can do that, i'll cancel the online order if i can!
 
Well that was a bit more fraught than I was hoping. Still, ordered and due for delivery next week, iPhone 6, 128GB, silver. :)
 
STOCK UPDATE -

The 6+ are 3-4 weeks except 16Gb.
Silver 6 64Gb is 7-10 Days.

I expect 6+ stock was low, and Silver 6 64Gb is the most in demand.
 
Just to confirm. No money has been taken by Apple. It's just an authorisation hold which will be reversed in the next few days (with corresponding panic from people on here).

The actual charge will be made on dispatch.
 
Money has gone from account (held) and processing email has been received so looks good for me. Delivery is slipping now :(
 
Yay ordered mine! 08.53 iphone 6 plus grey 64gb but 3 weeks for delivery?!

I've also just called Three.
Spoke to a nice lady who asked which phone (6 or 6Plus) and colour and asked what is the best time for a call back. I said between 2 & 3 and they'll discuss 16/64/128 when they call as they will have prices by then.

So far, painless.
Let's see.

You're right. My email says the 19th, so I'm gonna remain positive and certain thats what my date is. I'm only an hour outside London so its not like I'm in the middle of nowhere.
 
I ordered a 6 and a 6+.
Both 128GB.

The 6 will come on the 19th.
The 6+ says 7-10 days dispatch and delivery on the 30th!!!
 
Santander here, no 'hold' but for some reason 'available funds' is MORE money available since this morning?
