UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Ordered grey 6+ 128gb 3-4 weeks delivery! Omg that's what being up at 6am was for..... No release day iPhone for me again this year without a compromise on which one I wanted.

totally agreed, worst ever pre-order launch but i managed to get mine ordered in time! arrives on the 19th! and pre-orders went FAST, all the iPhone 6 plus now show 3~4weeks, i feel bad for those who'll be ordering now.
 
And MacRumors was also down and giving me errors, logging me out, would not let me log in for ages no matter how many times i tried.

Wow, the internet is WILD today. :D

Mate, Three said they'd be implementing 4G in my area in February. The most I ever got was 2 minutes of 4G in very few places which would drop the minute I tried to load anything. Pathetic service.

Yes, you'd think Apple would know by now that it's going to be crazy and put something in place to help with everything but no, it seems it gets worse with every release. Yeah, very fast, we're the lucky ones! :cool:
 
Wow, so trying to reserve a phone for pick-up was a bit of a clusterf**k. No matter what browser I tried it did not like my Apple ID. Ended up trying my dads and got in first time. iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey ordered for pickup at Buchanan Street on Sept. 19th!

And for anyone wondering you can choose either sim free or carrier tariff as an option and you do not have to pay anything until next Friday.
 
Kinda pissed at the carriers right now, since I like to consider my options on contracts/sim free etc.

I'm not too fussed about release day, but if you reserve then don't pick it up is there any kind of penalty or does it just go back in the stock?
 
So happy i switched browser to Safari, went straight in at 08:20

Managed to order iPhone 6 Gold 64Gb and the same in Plus for launch day delivery.

Can't believe the low stock of the Plus size!

Ok another Barclays person to confirm.

Apple haven't held the money with Barclays accounts as of yet. Just called Barclays and they said they can't see any pending or held transactions at all.

Looks like I'll have to contact Apple themselves.
 
6+ money taken. 6 money still sitting there and saying 'we've received your order'

They pre-order (like the livestream) has been a flipping disaster.

Shambolic.

EDIT: Both now say processing and no change in delivery date. Money gone. Phew.

Three now has a preorder button on the ip6, but it just takes you to a page that says Worth The Wait, same as Twitter.
I could have had longer in bed this morning if I'd known :(
