What would be the point otherwise? If they give mine to someone else, I'll be... unimpressed...

I guess they might if you miss your chosen slot though
 
Stay on my mac since 7:50 this morning. Had to leave for work at 8:30.

Finished order on my phone for a iphone 6 64gb gold and iphone 6+ 64gb gray 10 mins ago on Apple site.

The iphone 6 will here on the 19th, but the 6+ dispatch in 3 to 4 weeks (it was 7 to 10 days when I added to my basket).

So I m going to be late for work and will not getting the phone I want for one month after release.

This is not how want to feel after spending more than £1300!!
 
6+ 64 gray. 3-4 wks. I failed by trying to use the store app, then by the time I got on my Mac, delivery had slipped. Oh well.
 
Eventually got through and ordered it about 7 times. Each time it just went back to the Apple Store.

Late for work, a complete, underwhelming fiasco. I don't think I'll be doing that again. Rubbish.:mad:
 
I have reserved one for store pickup. So no money has been taken. There was a drop down menu option for sim free or carrier tariff. Is the carrier tariff for contract phones so you can upgrade in store? It wasn't very clear.
 
Well that was another example of a post Jobs balls up! The app didn't work at all and then finally have up and used the site on my phone. It was 19/9 delivery when I opened it, 30th-3rd when in my basket and then 10-17th once I'd placed the order. The app had it all set up and I was ready at 8:01. Ah well. Looks like going to store on the 19th it is then, although I'm not holding out much hope for them to have many 128gb SG +s especially when I rock up after work. Hopefully they will re stock before mine gets dispatched so I can cancel it

Also go a fraud check text from my credit card company. Replied with the 'Y' to say it was me... so should be all good.

I also got the same fraud warning from my credit card (barclaycard) replied Y. I checked my online account as the message they sent back said I should check with the retailer to see if it needed processing again, it has £619 as pending so hopefully everything is fine.
 
Right as Three are apparently calling me back between 2 &3 and I'm tired beyond belief after working all night, I'm off to bed.
I'll catch up with this thread and all you good people later.

GUYS!

I did pre order from Apple, got the confirmation mail too, but I just checked the account with apple again, and seems they refused to take the payment ( I have twice the funds available though) SO i clicked on confirm my payment AGAIN in the account, and THEY TOOK THE MONEY OFF NOW.
 
Oh and express checkout had switched off for me despite me turning it on again last night. Almost got a delayed delivery because of that!

I ordered about 30mins ago. I wouldn't worry too much, there will most likely be a queue for checking money in accounts and you're at the back.

You will be absolutely fine.

The areas which have had problems before are places like the North of Scotland.

Unless anything unusual happens you will get yours on the 19th.
 
got a gold 128gb VZ at 3:02 am EST for myself
and..
got a black 128gb ATT at 3:42 am EST for my friend

each on their respective carrier sites. Apple's site still isn't working for me
 
What a terrible pre-order launch, worse than the 5's and that was bad!

Apple site seems to be working on all browsers for me now, but the Apple Store app is still down.

Thank god i ordered in time for launch date delivery!
