UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

There were no pre orders for 5s and 5c.
I was dead set for the 6, but with the 6 plus I'm torn.
I like everything about the 6 plus (OIS, bigger screen, better battery, landscape) EXCEPT the device size. It's over 6 inches. How do people carry these exactly?!
It will be my only phone which like most people I will carry in jeans/trouser pockets. Can you really carry a 6 inch phone in your pocket all day?

Exactly the same as you, it's roughly 6.2 inches in height. So I'm trying to imagine how I would carry this phone and then make a decision from that.
I do want those OIS/battery features too, even the landscape mode for the icons is pretty damn cool and I can only imagine when iOS allows it - split view would be awesome.
I know that in the past people have gone nuts trying to get their orders processed as the servers can't cope with it

It will feel big because we are used to 4" phones and its quite a jump but if you want all the additional functionally then no gain without pain i guess
Not sure if this template is accurate, unless my printer settings are wrong.
I cut out the iPhone 6 template and it is virtually identical in size to my iPhone 5s.

First time pre-ordering here. Normally I've waited 4-5 weeks after the event. I remember I managed to get an iPhone 5 about 1 week after launch (on contract) by checking every night for the next days stock and then reserving one.

What have previous pre-orders been like? Are we talking ridiculous selling out times like gig tickets where they go within seconds and minutes for launch day shipping?

Seems a bit silly to me, not getting a phone you wanted because it's £50 over your £650 expectation.

Currently eyeing their Neo Hybrid (which I what I currently have on my 5)
Probably in the next 1-2 days.
Most carriers seem to be doing pre-orders on Friday this year - which means prices will ideally be announced with plenty time for people to make their decisions before the pre-ordering starts.
