You guys are getting me excited and I haven't even ordered one from Apple. Hope EE doesn't mess up my order!

Omg preparing for dispatch 9 days early!!!

I think Apple wants peoples money now to pay off its suppliers so they can produce more iphones lol and pocket the profits.

Think Tim will be treating himself to some new trainers lol

So just spoke to Not Francis on the apple support chat. Seems as though my payment has been authorised. So that is good. Whether or not that means that there will be a problem when they take the money or not I do not know. But I asked when the money would be taken and not Francis said money would be taken when your item is changing to preparing for dispatch.

This is different to previous years isn't it? Don't they usually take payment when it is about to be dispatched. Maybe doing it now helps as they will have to contact people who's payments have been stopped.

There was an old Nokia and a Samsung flip phone for £10 each at CEX. You could probably sell it back to them for a £5 a week or two later ;)

Just bought a Motarola flip for £15 and a free sim adapter from 3. All set now. It's going to be a long week!

I currently have a 10GB contract, but I've only ever come close to using that once in 2 years and that's when I was using personal hotspot and testing the limits of what I could do! I'm usually well under 4, so it makes sense for me to downsize.

I've only come close to around 6Gb in a really heavy month when I was with Three on the old one plan. In the end I gave up the One Plan (without receiving a letter from them) and went with EE because Three data speeds are crap everywhere I go, plus their TrafficSense throttling means any time after 3pm and you can forget a decent data speed!

EE might not have the most data in their tarriffs, but its definitely the fastest Ive experienced.

I only get 2GB per month in my Sim Only tarriff but hope to get up to 8-10Gb when I come to renew. I'd happily stay with EE as I like their data speeds and quality.

I paid for my phone with a John Lewis Credit Card (I collect points and get vouchers). In the midst of all the charging problems, would the general consensus be to ring the card services and tell them it's not a scam?

Really worried now!

The Watford Apple Store do not have any new iPhone, iPad Mini cases, watch straps or new docks. According to one of the guys I spoke they won't be having any until the 25th.

Never been with EE. I think Three's data is great. 4G is very good and I seem to get it most places I go. I was with Giffgaff before which use O2 and the data speeds were dreadful. I got max 3mb. With three I am currently getting 15mb

Why are you wasting valuable phone call time asking here!?

Because I haven't had the same issue as couple of people, and the payments for my Silicone and Leather cases have now been charged to my Credit Card so doubt they're going to block the £699 coming out of my account!

Presumably if there's a problem they email you? No email, no worry :)

They want your money, so they'll make effort to ensure the transaction goes through successfully.

Three are a really good network these days. Good coverage and as a 3G only network you only get the good speeds. The free calls and data while abroad is also ace.

Here's a speed test on their 4G network I took the other day.
