Anyone live in or around Gloucester? It must be the only City in the UK with no Apple Store and it drives me nuts! Have to drive all the way to Bristol :(

So what will you do if you drop and break or lose the iPhone 6?

Drop, v unlikely as never done before. Also, if I do go ahead I'd be super careful. And lose? Won't happen. I'm NEVER without my iPhone. I won't even leave on a table in a restaurant even with me sitting there!

Preston? nope, Lancaster? Nope, there's loads of places without. Takes me only 10 minute drive to Liverpool One from where I work but have to park in John Lewis for £5 or whatever but work is a 30 min drive... Not much but it adds up.

I know! There's Bath, Bristol and Birmingham. All of which take at least 45 minutes. I suppose it might be because there are the premium reseller shops (although they don't sell iPhones), they see less of a need... I always find it a bit awkward in those shops though, there's often just me in there with 3 shop assistants watching my every move!

We don't have an official Apple store in Nottingham, but we do have the brilliant KRCS, and they sell iPhones. As good as an official store, plus a great warranty repairs department (Apple themselves use them). Seems they've been opening iPhone to resellers recently, with even John Lewis now selling them.

Yeah I went from living in Preston without one to Manchester where I have my choice of two.

The good thing with John Lewis is that you get 2 years warranty. I doubt they will stock the 6s starting the 25th though.

Need your opinion guys .. Pre ordered with Apple given an estimate of 9th - 16th which is fair enough. Do I on the other hand also pre order with Vodafone which I'm currently with and pick it up on the 8th or do I just turn up to one of their stores on release day and see if they have any spare phones to sell to me ? Decisions decision.

Is it the 25th yet?

Did you sort your number problem out? I've just had a call name didn't come up but the number was stored. The number came up as +44 format but the number stored is the usual 07 format. Just added the +44 number to my contact and the name now works.

Ask them if they are going to have stock for walk ins on the day. If yes show up nice and early.

my iPhone was made 2 weeks ago. That seems quite recent. Thought they usually ended up being 3-4 weeks old. Maybe mine is just newer though.
