Are both generations not the same size in terms of cases? Screen protectors will definitely be the same.

I think cases are the same. Apple
Store is only listing 6S and 6 plus cases and when you read the description it says the cases fit both new and old '6' versions

Here we go again... the only time I use this forum is for this thread.. every year!

I sold my 16Gb 6 a few weeks ago to Mazuma Mobile.. super simple and they gave me £330...I usually sell privately but nobody wanted it this year!

I'm going 6S+ this time round.....

....am I the only one who thinks iPhone 6 S Plus is a bit of a mouthful?

Good shout!

Just ordered the Black one on Amazon for £3.99 :)

gonna sell my 128Gb 6+ to the mrs for £250 and go for the 6s+ 128gb.

Hopefully the phone is faster then the current model, really find the 6+ a bit slow

Im hoping the new 6+ s is faster than the 6+ better be.

25th is a good date for release as im off work on that day anyway so ill be home when it arrives. Thats if i get my pre order in by 8:01.

Im just hoping betwee now and 25th Apple can produce lots of iphones so that pre order stock doesnt run out within minutes!!!!

Also i read somewhere yesterday Apple delayed the launch date to the 25th ( last minute thing) due to Japan r something. I believe that is true.

iOS update normally comes 2 days before iPhone launch, so when they mentioned tht iOS 9 releasing September 16 early into the event, i thought yessss 18th!! But once they said 25th i thought damnnn!!

Anyway gives them more time to get more stock ready so hopefully if we miss 25th window we should hit the 5-7 days or 1-2 weeks at least!!

My iPhone5 is on it's last legs so I'd already decided to upgrade to the 6S. It was always going to be a significant upgrade for myself so I'm not too disappointed at the new features like some are (and I'm happy to pay the £80 to get the 6S over the 6).

Happy with my current SIM only deal as well so just need to get the phone.

Wooh! Exciting.

I'll be selling my 64GB iPhone 6 (space gray) to a friend, I think. Anyone have any idea what fair mates rates would be? It's in literally perfect condition (put it in the Apple silicon case the moment I took it out the box).

Also, I reserved one last year for in-store collection and payment, which is my preferred way of doing it anyway. I'm assuming some of you here did the same — did that option become available on launch day at the same time as regular preorders?

Just checked EnviroPhone, I've been offered £196 for an iPhone 5s 64gb (which includes 5% voucher code). Is this reasonable? Are EnviroPhone reliable? I've never used them before so any advice would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

What's everyone's thoughts on popularity of colour options? Want to avoid another watch shambles, where certain colours took weeks longer to dispatch.

Did you use EXTRA5 code on envirophone to get an extra 5%? I didn't discover code until after I did first 'order' so redid and it worked. Just need to make sure I send it back in the right envelope (I cunningly altered my address so it is easy to spot the difference!)

Code got me an extra tenner on my trade in price for my 64gb 5s :)

Thanks for the code. I've also just made a new order. Re the address change I guess you removed Midlothian like I've done?! Not sure why so many places insist on it being there.

Off to the Apple Store tomorrow to look at and feel the 6 plus. Like the idea of the bigger screen but my hands are quite small!

That's nice off you to sell it to her! I've offered my hubbie my 64gb 5s and I'll trade in his 16gb 5c instead but he didn't seem bothered - which is strange as his is full but good as gives me more towards my trade in. Yikes just checked only £31 for his 5c as locked to EE!

Prob best to look at other threads for this. Poll I looked at last night suggests Space Grey but might have chAnged by now.

Hi - I think I remember you from 5s launch! Where we all tracking the UPS guy together?? I need to go to any phone shop to look at the 6's to decide on colour. Forgot to do yesterday when passing. I figure though the Apple Stores may have the new rose gold sport watches to get an idea of how that will look.

If we order 2 can we return one to the Apple Store?

Hi guys,

I have a few questions.

I was looking on the Apple site and it said:

An unlocked iPhone 6s may not support 4G LTE networks in all countries; contact service providers for details.

Is this just a standard disclaimer? I use the BT Mobile network, which is the same network as EE as far as I know.

Can someone confirm whether we can order 2 phones? Need one for myself and one for the missus.

I always assumed this was just due to network agreements, not hardware limitations. For example 3 offer free roaming in a number of countries, but only 3G. Maybe it's just a disclaimer so we don't assume we can have access to 4G on every network just because it's capable.

I think so its basically them saying were giving you a piece of hardware that can do it, but its not our problem if your carrier can't provide the software needed for it.

I always thought it was 2 max, best double check though

Anybody in two minds on colour?

Also black or space gray for me, although I did like the rose gold but wouldn't buy it :)
