Agree I expect 50 release day videos or more of morons, idiots and fools destroying perfectly good phones and depriving genuine customers of a device.
What I hare is they get paid to buy a phone then take knives, grates and blenders to a device then go... Oh look it scratched .... shock, horror!
If I took a chainsaw to the thing I think it would have a mark but luckily I rarely keep one them in my pocket. Like a chef knife really. Dont often have one in my pocket.
Used screen protectors on every phone apart from my current 5s. Maybe I just suck at applying them (even running the shower hot to steam up the bathroom and defeat the scourge of air bubbles) but got fed up with it all. No scratches. Thankful I have a decent case though as I've dropped it a few times.
If you can't get an adapter.... Try and blag a PAYG free SIM card as they usually are pop out to the different sizes... So you can use it as an adapted.
If it is a battery out slide in SIM slot, I have gotten away with bodging it by sliding in the nano sim and then using sellotape over the top to keep it in place..... Not a long term fix, but has got me out of a hole before now.
You don't carry a chef knife? But what if you need to dice an onion on the go?
Looks like my O2 order has a tracking number. It shows as parceline but links to DPD where it shows as 'Your parcel is on its way' updated at 08:00 today.

That's not a bad idea about the SIM card. Only need to use it for a few days.
We have o2 refresh tariffs which allows us to upgrade every year at discounted prices, they have the standard 2 year contracts. We will only have to pay around 300 to upgrade next year where they have to pay 550 in total.
If you don't want to upgrade every year it's cheaper to sign a third party 2 year contract with mobiles.co.uk or carphone.
I was on chat with o2 at 7:55am. Order finally went through an hour or so later (took ages). 25th was 'confirmed' though. Just want that extra reassurance of an updated order page.
Definitely gonna track by reference when I get up tommorow! Have a feeling we might finally see courier tracking

Not really! Apple's own Bumpers scratched the hell out of iPhone 4 when they first released them, IIRC.Well, as I heard, Samsungs own cases do scratch their phones so would definitely make sense
Get an unactivated nano sim.. I got one posted last week for free.. U can activate online which is effective within 2 hrs
it probably just fell off the production line, and was given a spit polish & wipe down to clean it before boxing up.
So I can order free PAYG sim and tell them to move my number to that sim card?
