Did a live chat with an Apple advisor earlier. My Silver 128GB 6S+ has been at preparing to Ship for about 5 days now and I was just curious what courier Apple may use. They told me that no courier had been assigned to me yet but they use UPS Mail UK and TNT. This feels like it is getting a bit late in the day now to not even assign couriers.

Am sure they have the couriers booked but not given them specific details. I don't think it is late in the day - these companies are used to picking up and delivering within hours. Most likely they have a head start on what and where they will be delivering.

I've got an 8.30 reservation appt on Friday, but there are others in here who have 8am ones!

Me!! Need to teach myself how to post pics on here again. Been a while :(

It is FOUR days. Some of us are very excited! ☺️

We are!!:D:D:D:D:D

Ah thats good to hear, they have reservation and walk in stock!!

I was out of country last year so missed out on the 6 launch so wasnt part of the pre order.

I hope they split the walk in and reservation queues as i have early morning reservation so want to be in and out of there

Normal practice is they do separate the lines as different processes for each line to follow.

With the walk in line they will go down the queue before opening and ask what you would like and check stock. If in stock you will be allocated a number I think and can either wait or come back later if the queue is long and you are towards the middle or back. Obviously during the day, if some of either the walk in or reserved slots do not go through with their purchases for whatever reason there is a chance of still picking one up in the day. The 6S model seems in plenty of stock if purchasing from apple. However the 6S plus stock is more constrained from what I see.

An alternative just as a matter of hope is making use of any phone carrier shop in the area you live in. Often people queue for ages at Apple for a phone when in a matter of fact I have just walked into a phone shop and bought one outright or renewed my contract. Or explore online options with the phone carriers before launch day. Last year I managed to get an iPhone 6 Plus online three days before it was launched from one of the main phone carriers - guaranteed I was on contract though. It arrived before 10am on launch day.

In previous years I have resorted to getting one this way but am using Apples in store reservation method this time round. And if worse case scenario comes around have four shops I can then go to. It seems like stock this year is plenty as many in the UK still show being able to get one for release day. Therefore, am confident either way I will get my desired iPhone 6S plus model.

Yes I agree above , however I'll queue as I can't reserve online , getting there early will , I hope get me the 6+128 RG :)

Hi people, new here. I upgraded my iPhone 5c to the iPhone 6S Plus on Pre order day through EE. But haven't received an email or text confirmation, anyone else had a similar problem?

You won't until just before they dispatch, probably the night before.

Just received a text message from Vodafone thanking me for providing "my new address". Seeing I've lived in this same house for the past 45 years I thought I better give them a call. It turns out that someone has managed to hack into my account and order 2 new iPhone 6's for delivery to an address in Essex (I'm in Lancashire). How on earth they managed to breech my security I don't know. What's more, I think Vodafone's security measures are very poor. Surely someone who orders 2 new iPhone's and changes their address on the same day should raise some suspicion? Be careful folks.

I had this myself a few years ago - first I was aware was when I received a paper invoice thanking me for my order. I remain to be convinced on Vodafone's explanation at the time (my online account wasn't hacked - this was done over the phone). The do apparently have the ability to apply "extra" security to your account which supposedly means you get asked additional verification questions over the phone, although its probably pointless when their own phone system presently won't correctly recognise numbers or peoples security PINs automatically.

..In fact come to think of it - this could well be something someone has taken advantage of - if their automated PIN entry isn't working they'll only ask basic security questions over the phone which are IMO easy to guess.

Been a bit absent from this forum so bear with me if I'm repeating...

When you say that 8pm today would have been the latest it's ever shipped, do you mean iPhones?

If Apple decide to do what they did with the Watch order and have them despatch from UK warehouses then it's quite possible we won't get a shipping notification until Thursday evening.

It was my iPhone 4S, shipped at 8 pm and it was dispatched from a uk warehouse (Tamworth UPS) and it took 5 days to arrive! Eg: ship Monday to arrive Friday

its hard to believe we went through all this for the iPhone 4 I am using at the moment!!!! its soo sloooowwwwww
I remember my 4 was painfully slow before I upgraded to a 5s, can't imagine what it must seem like now! At least you'll majorly feel the benefit when the 25th finally arrives!

The security question they asked me was "what's the first and forth numbers of your passcode?"
