Does anyone know if upgrading through Three they stick to the date given for delivery or if they get more stock they ship earlier?

My EST is 9th October, but if they get more stock before would they shift they delivery date sooner? I will pop in store on Friday to see if they had envy stock and will do then and cancel my upgrade delivery.

That's the nano sim on it's way from Three to me. Just have to call them to activate it when it arrives or on Friday when I get my 6s.

I'm working on Friday but off the weekend so I want my phone on Friday for the weekend.

Another thing. I could never wait 4 days outside a store without a reservation, I'd probably end up choosing another model to make sure I get a phone unless it was one of those 16gb ones I don't want.

I'd imagine they'd ship when they can. It would leave you with a more positive customer experience if you were to get it early. Hopefully that happens! :)

Hopefully! been with them 3 years and got no loyalty or discount on the phone though which was a bummer. Well I did get 2 years free warranty on phone but not sure if that was for loyalty or just a new thing they were doing lol

Might ring them to confirm tomorrow :)

Queuing that much ensures you definitely get what you want , there's no ifs or buts about it really . The stores always have walk in stock , some models have limited availability and so depending which model you wants defines how long your prepared to wait , I wanted the 6+ 128 in gold , and I got it , but the gold models ran out fast ,

Point to note : if all the scammer resellers weren't in the queue then everyone would get a phone , these resellers are a scurge of Apple queues , they strip supply and then extort several hundred extra by listing on a not so certain dubious crooked auction site .....!
Some are already charging as much as £500 in addition to the retail price just because they outstrip supply .

lucky you, I ordered a nano sim from T-Mobile (EE) last week and still no sim. And no money for the sim has been taken from my account,, it makes me wonder if Friday comes and I have no sim for my new Iphone :(

Still on PFD here too so expecting Weds or Thu before any updates as they silently fly in from China.

I'm currently using a Moto E first gen so the 6s Plus can't come soon enough. Thankfully I don't have to go through the scalpers scenario again this year.

As for the phone, I'm really looking forward to 3D Touch - I think it'll be very well-liked. After having a 6 and being frustrated by the camera, battery, and 1gb ram, the 6s Plus is a big upgrade. I was waiting for 2gb to pull the trigger.

Roll on Friday.

Cut the sodding thing down man!!!!

I have done in the past. You can get guides online you print out
I cut my sim down for the iPhone 5 when I went from the 4, easy enough to do , just at make sure when your cutting to not cut any of the contacts and ALWAYS cut too little , it's easier to trim to fit after .

Am sure they have the couriers booked but not given them specific details. I don't think it is late in the day - these companies are used to picking up and delivering within hours. Most likely they have a head start on what and where they will be delivering.

This is not the averge single delivery though. This is a co-ordinated delivery consiting of hundreds of thousands of items that have to be sorted, assigned and readied for dispatch all at the same time. These sort of things usually take weeks if not months of planning. To be 4 days away from delivery there feels to be a lack of delivery information.

Even if it said with courier awaiting delivery it would be some progress.

I agree, people who strip supply to resell for several hundred pounds is bad!! But then the buyers willing to pay that money are just as bad!!

I really do hope that people see sense and dont feed these scalpers by buying their phones would sort out this problem!!

Apple watch was a similar problem, scalpers buying watches and selling for crazy prices.

I would rather wait a month than pay a scalper hundreds!!

Exactly right. Yes it's a pain that people buy phones just to sell them on for a profit but they only do it because they know that some people can't be bothered to wait and will pay more than the retail price.

Have an iPhone reserved at the Manc Apple store for 0900 or thereabouts. Possibly stupid question, but what time should I get there? How organised are they and can I expect to be out the door, iPhone in hand, within 30 minutes of my reservation time? I'm merely curious, not preemptively moaning about waiting around. That said, I will need to leave for work by about 11am, so hopefully I'm long gone by then.

Historically, I've typically arranged for home delivery, ordering within minutes of the store going online, but for various reasons I've gone the reservation route this time.
