Ah I see.

In previous years the iPhones I've ordered always came direct from China via UPS so this is quite a change for me!

All my prior Apple Store orders were direct from china
the only time I had a delivery from Syncreon of a phone was when
1) My day 1 delivery (a 4S) never made it out of UK Customs and got lost inside UPS
2) When my day 1 delivery (a 5) had a hardware fault (restarted itself after 2 hrs use)

This time I got UK Mail, and dispatched on 19th .. though nothing on UK Mail tracking yet
Thankfully the UK Mail depot is 2 miles away, so any issues delivering and I'll go knock on their door

Nah just been calling everyday to check stock and they keep confirming 9th at earliest

If UK Mail say that mine is lost or delayed I'm going down to the local depot and I'm going to line them all up for a chat.

Same as most here it seems, dispatched (yay) on 18th & coming via UK Mail. Annoyingly no notifications from the Apple Store app despite having it set to notify, and the email was flagged as SPAM by my mail server. Never had that with an Apple order before.

Usually Middleton depot for me with UK Mail. A bit further than UPS and through all those flaming roadworks on M62. Hope I can actually catch the delivery then.

Thanks! I missed that in all the activity on the thread. It makes sense, as the date they dispatched (18th for me) was the day it was added to my support profile. So they were probably, as you say, on a flight from China and then broken down into single units at Syncreon ready for Friday

Only model with a delay is the rose gold 6s plus. I did a upgrade and its showing in my account online as delivery 25th and had a text and email to confirm. I take it yours wasn't a upgrade.

Mine is with DPD .... Space Gray 64GB 6S Plus. Synchreon were the courier for my Space Gray dock, but it was delivered by my postie !

Yeah they told me ill get a email and text on the morning telling me my hour slot. But the rep did say to ring back tomorrow evening before 8pm as they will have a tracking number on the system then

When you got your reservation receipt, what date did it say it would be available for?

I did the same as you but my deposit receipt said expected 5/10/15

It says "Expected on Friday September 25, 2015"

Not quite a commitment, but when I reserved they looked on their system and they could see exactly which models they were expecting to get in stock. They allocated one of the 2 6S Plus 128GB Golds they were expecting to me.

It was all very straightforwards and its the most reassured I've been coming up to iPhone launch day for years.

Only if you have UPS My Choice.. but to sign up for that they need to send you a letter with a confirmation code so it'd be too late to sign up before Friday unfortunately!
