I do too... But my housemate will be going to collect her iPhone at around three-ish, so hoping for an early slot so she can actually be in to collect the parcel!
So what you are saying is your delivery slot will be 3-ish. Hopefully you get an early delivery.

Question to some experts! As I've mentioned in previous comments I am regretting ordering the 16GB model but am super inpatients.

My 16GB arrives Friday (dispatched from apple.com woop)
On the Apple website I can order a 64GB via the website for delivery 1st - 8th October.

So lets say I order the 64GB now and when it arrives (within my 14 days return) can I submit a return for my opened 16GB (kept immaculate) for a full refund?

Can anyone see any issues here?

Thanks in advance!

As long as you set up the return within 14 days then you should be fine! The phone will have to be as new and unmarked obviously.

jeez i've not even had a drink tonight.. didn't you have an order which hasn't switched to dispatched?

lol

No, the post you quoted was an answer to @Cutiekitty92 about her eBay auction...

I've got an in store reservation waiting for me on Friday morning, I can't be bothered waiting in for the delivery man ;).

Thanks all. Understood about looking after it, I would look after it as if I was keeping it. I feel bad about even opening it!

I guess the 14 days is from delivery.. 25th?

Yeah its that or best offer, they can offer me...
And if it doesnt sell it doesnt sell, no rush I really dont mind

If it doesn't sell then that's £0 for you. And if you don't sell it sooner rather than later it will only lose value. I don't really think any sane person would pay your asking price when they can get they latest model straight from apple which is just a lot more reassuring than buying a used phone off eBay for £150 or so more. Doesn't really make sense, sorry.

It's a shame we can't collect from the Middleton depo. That's where I am to

Really? I would have thought we could, but only from Saturday morning. I believe they are contracted, and therefore obligated, to attempt delivery once and only then can we make arrangements to collect. But I could be wrong.

As a sidenote I had a delivery by UK Mail a coule of weeks ago and I got home to find a card saying they missed me and would attempt redelivery the next working day. 2 hours later there was a knock on the door. He'd come back! Probably can't expect that on iPhone Friday, they'll be a bit busy, but it could happen.

Who cares. That's my choice. If it doesn't sell I'll keep it. God what is wrong with everyone. Back off.

Yeah that was until I got my payslip through today, really dont care if it sells or not right now...

Try Cex. Or Game price match as long as the other store is within 5 miles. Worst case - try selling it on Facebook using a local 'for sale and wanted' group. I avoid eBay for high value items.

Thanks dude I will deffo consider those

I've had absolutely nothing from Carphone Warehouse so far.

Hopefully i'll get an email tomorrow when DPD pick up the phone. I ordered at 8.02 so there's really no excuse for it not arriving on Friday

I think everyone should just give this a rest. Cutiekitty92 has already posted she doesn't want any more advice or help. Let her decide what's best for her and leave it at that. This is an internet forum and at the end of the day we are all strangers to each other, not friends or family. If someone says they don't want any more advice or help we should all respect that and leave it at that.

Thank you for this it's much appreciated. Honestly it's been turning a positive into a huge negative and it really doesn't need to be. Getting a new phone is an exciting thing not a bad thing. And if my phone doesn't sell so it be. It's really not the end of the world for me. I'm not like others that has been desperate to get rid.

Yeah sorry they have to attempt delivery once. It would have been nice to drive down at 8am and pick the phone up

Hello, have you met the internet? That's like asking the sun not to shine. Good luck Cutiekitty92 with whatever you decide to do.

Sorry for making things negative, but with all due respect, you publicly disclosed your business. Had you not wanted any feedback you could have kept it to yourself.

Oh wow. Okay. I never once asked someone oh help on eBay. Never. Only ever said I was selling on eBay. If anything you lot just need to keep you're opinions to yourself. Just because you personally wouldn't buy doesn't mean someone else wouldn't.

From what I've been using this week I'm already thinking of iPhone 7. No way I can go another week without a decent phone. It's been a nightmare ! If you don't sell it, keep it. Or, sell it later.

Yes. I couldn't go phone less either during this wait and no spares around so that's the reason I had to wait it out.

Same here. I've been using an iPhone 5C 8GB which is my work phone - thought it wouldn't really notice much of a difference but holy cow it feels so slow / cheap! For the extra I made selling the device before release I'm paying for now.

Although it will make the 6S seem quicker than it is!!

You don't need to ask for help or ask for anything, but if you're making your business public knowledge, you'd be naive not to expect people to respond and make their views publicly known too.

And us Three users have nothing until 9th :(
Didn't you see my reply to you earlier? I phoned 3 and the lady said to me Friday by DPD and we'd get a text Friday morning with our time slot for delivery. Maybe the person who told you Oct 9th was an idiot?
