So it goes as below:

1. Make encrypted backup
2. Unpair  Watch
3. Turn on iPhone 6s Plus
4. Restore from encrypted backup
5. Pair  Watch with iPhone 6s Plus

Is that right to preserve all health and activity data?

Unpair before you take the encrypted backup. The Watch is automatically backed up to the iPhone every so often, but unpairing includes taking a backup, so your watch will be exactly the same (apart from Pay/etc stuff that isn't backed up) after step 5.

See https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204518 for more info.

Well, for a moment it ran through my mind to return the phone to apple and buy the one from JL for the extra year warranty, but the trick with the sim lock is a showstopper for me, I will stick to the one I am getting on Friday.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case!

Will definitely be doing an encrypted back-up anyways. Way too lazy to re-type in all my passwords :p
Hope you're enjoying your new watch! Had to unpair and pair mine last night which seemed to resolve battery drain since downloading OS2.

All, I know this has been talked about a lot in other threads, Gold or Space grey, The white antenna lines on the gold are to big i think, yet so many people have the space grey. I have 2 coming tomorrow...

You mean Friday. OK, just half an hour, but still. ;)

Rose Gold 64GB on it's way to me. Now, if only my new shiny Apple Watch would get a move on!

So jealous! Watch it next on my list!

It's awesome! This is my 3rd Watch. I had the Space Grey Sport on launch day, but sold it after feeling it wasn't 'watch-y' enough. I like my watches, and went with SS with Black Classic Buckle second time around. Then Apple released the updated classic buckle bands and added a brown leather option, so I asked Apple if the would accept a return on the SS with Black Classic Buckle and they did so without hesitation, despite me being outwith the return period.

Now it's just the agony of waiting for it to arrive!

No. I mean they are, until you stick a sim into them.

Seriously, don't be lazy, just read the comments above.

Just read and caught up

Please note:iPhone will lock itself to the network of the first SIM card that is used in the phone. Subsequently attempting to use it on any other network, for example by replacing the SIM card, may mean it becomes permanently unusable. SIM free iPhones can only be used with a UK-network SIM card, and will not accept foreign SIM cards.

Just seen this so it will lock!

Exactly, that's the trick. Be careful, I don't think the extra year warranty would worth it. At least not for me.

I've been looking at that... I got the Stone silicone for now but been looking at the blue leather one too.

Yeah, I always have to go with a blue case haha. I was tempted by the Midnight Blue silicone case, but I've had the blue Apple Leather Case on my iPhone 5S for the past two years and it's feel is still really nice (although a bit discoloured around the edges).

YES! Got my dispatch notification earlier. :D

Although, my stomach nearly dropped out of my anus when I saw that it was being delivered by UK Mail. I can't recall ever having them delivered a parcel to me before, but everything I've heard about them has been a bit... eek.

I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed. :D

Called Three at 19:58 and they confirmed I'll receive my phone on Friday. I won't receive any notification until Friday morning though.

Maybe give them a call tomorrow morning for a little bit of reassurance. Hope this helps.
hi, what phone did you order?

Don't forget, under Europe law, goods such as this have a 2 year warranty regardless of where you buy them, so the jl/Apple argument is easy - Apple wins hands down!!
