Had a look on the DPD website and it seems the options we might(or does every delivery definitely have them?) have are to change to pre-10:30 delivery or pre-noon delivery; does anyone know how much this would cost? Depending on the timeslot I'm given I will upgrade unless it's going to come before noon.

£5 for 8:30-12, £10 for anything more specific.

Yipee! Just checked my O2 account and checked the tracking number on the DPD site and they have my phone with an expected delivery of tomorrow.

So after also getting a text saying to collect it I decided to go :O. so apparently they don't have the parcel yet at the depot and they're not too sure why it says that on the tracking. but by the sounds of things if they did have it there they would have given it to me

Hmm, OK - now I'm questioning myself; I think I did it from iOS 9 final public beta to the release version - that might be different to going from iOS 9.1 back to 9. Sorry, I may have led you "up the garden path" there...

I've just sent my phone back from 9.1 PB to official 9.0.1 without using a backup (although I did take one). I deleted the PB profile, downloaded the 9.0.1 IPSW file and option clicked Update. Chose the downloaded file and my phone's software was replaced with 9.0.1 and all SEEMS fine so far.

Okay, this sounds promising! Where do you get the IPSW file from? And after you delete the PB profile and forced iTunes to 'update' to an older OS it did it? Hope this works, I'm a digital hoarder! Can't loose app data

Ah, I didn't get that text because they hadn't ever told me October. But I've just received my text offering me the chance to reschedule my delivery! AS IF!!!

Slightly off topic on deliveries BUT how will i restore my iPhone 6 backup on my 6s tomorrow? as it's using iOS 9.1 beta 2? In the developer portal it doesn't give me an option to download an image of iOS 9.1 beta 2 for a 6s?

Finally the parcel app has woken up and showing my ukmail delivery using the 309.... Tracking number. Shame the phone is still in bloody Ryton since 2pm.

Hopefully this is actually on way somewhere closer to their Croydon depot. That alone fills me with fear given I've had an Amazon delivery never turn up from their Croydon depot as it was stolen!

If anyone is wondering hoe to downgrade from ios 9.1 to 9.0.1 then I just downloaded the ipsw file then went into iTunes and selected update, manually selected the file and it downgraded fine with no issues.

Not seen an app itself use they reference. But u can use the webapp for the above or the ukmail or business-post site linked a good few times here
