The trucks must be travelling now/overnight to reach their destinations?

The app looks nice, but I hate when app developers try to sell subscriptions. Yes £1.99 per year is not much, but I would much rather pay a one off, than have to renew every year.

Paying once doesn't necessarily scale for the developer though - they will have to be paying the server costs for you indefinitely.

Apps on iOS are too cheap, it's ruining the ability of small developers to make a living.

Slightly off topic on deliveries BUT how will i restore my iPhone 6 backup on my 6s tomorrow? as it's using iOS 9.1 beta 2? In the developer portal it doesn't give me an option to download an image of iOS 9.1 beta 2 for a 6s?

The developer ipsw's have been posted, btw.

Anyone got any updates past Ryton on UK Mail yet?

I'm 'assuming' it's en route to my local depot?

It's badly needed. My 2009 iMac is showing its age now. The iPad mini and particularly the 6S plus is stupid impulse though, I can't help refresh them every year :/

I feel you although I usually skip the S cycles so this is a first for me, found it too tempting this year specially with the 2GB RAM.

haha deal! Didn't even realise mine was in Ryton till I just checked. So annoying I can't go and collect, especially as it's a fun country road to drive down!

It is a great road to drive down, you're right.

I was so tempted to take a trip down tonight and try it on just to see if there was weak/kind member of staff on reception.

Got a text saying i'll get my iphone on friday 25th sep and i'll get a delivery slot and i can track it and today i got a text saying my order will be delivered on 28th of sep by dpd and a tracking link! when did you place the order and what model?

To late now I bet but if I had known earlier I'd of been very tempted to give it a shot. Although, I also don't want to cause any issues like making attention to it. I wonder how easy it is for them to steal packages.

A parcel tracking app doesn't require any servers for it to work. Syncing, although not in this case, can be done through iCloud, and the app is otherwise self sufficient. I understand why developers choose to go with the subscription model, and I'm more than happy to pay when justified, however I think many developers abuse that model. I paid the £1.99 for this app because I wanted the push notifications for the tracking of my UK Mail delivery which Junecloud's deliveries app doesn't offer. Its not much to pay, but I won't be renewing it next year.
