Tried to download the Apple Store app on my iPhone 5 and I just found out you can't do it on iOS 7! I couldn't upgrade mine to iOS 8 last year as it kept saying the phone was overheating (so I had to download something to get it back working on iOS 7 and then I didn't bother trying again)

Unless there's a way to go back again to 7 I'm not sure it's worth the risk to update, can't go without a phone for 2 weeks really (and that could be longer if I don't get a preorder in the first batch)

Not sure what to do!

Also does anyone know roughly how much the 16gb 6S+ is going to cost on a contract?

The 6+ was £19 upfront on a £54/month tariff with ULTD Calls, SMS and 6GB of data (but no Spotify, Sky Sports or Now TV).

As the 6S + is the same price outright I'd imagine the tariffs were the same or 50p on top of the prices currently listed on their website.

Sorry I should have said that's on Vodafone's own website.
I already have a line with them for my partner so i am looking to open up another one and make use of the Employee Advantage Scheme discount for it..Hopefully the price above will be similar tomorrow morning..

It more than likely will be. I know when I upgraded to the 6 Plus last year my new tariff was 50p more so don't be surprised if they do it again.

Yes Apple offer a 14 day return but one thing to remember, if you do return then you may have to order again and if they have dold out you may have to wait for the next one.

Just spoke to o2 chat about delivery, basically is first come first served, but the person on the other end said if I come on at 7.30am things can get processed a lot faster, I was asking about the 6S+, seen a few different times when we can pre-order tomorrow so might be worth checking if you generally wake up quite early!

Second point/question, I have a apple appointment tomorrow for my macbook charger, can people pre order in store or just online?

My strategy is this. Pre-order in the morning from Apple direct.

Remember Apple won't charge you until it ships which is going to be the 24th September so plenty of time to order and change your mind if need be.

I know my experience last year with 3 was that I did an upgrade for delivery day and then they text me to say it would be delayed 3 weeks!

So although the networks will try to deliver on the 25th I wouldn't hold your breath on it.
