Sorry for all the posts! Just been anxiously waiting since 7am. Any ukmailers still in their timelsot or passed it without delivery? Are your tracking graphics updating?

iPhone 6S stuck on white screen with black Apple logo shortly after restoring from a backup. Anyone else have similar issue

http://www.mobilenewscwp.co.uk/2015/06/18/ee-wants-to-keep-network-sharing-deal-with-three/

EE and Three share, and O2 and Vodafone share. Will be interesting to see what happens when Three and O2 merge though...

Wow! But I don't think Three SIMs work in EE phones, and vice versa.

My understanding is:
  • EE, T-Mobile, Orange, Virgin interchangeable
  • Tesco, Giffgaff and O2 interchangeable*
  • Vodafone and Talkmobile interchangeable
*though Giffgaff doesn't lock their phones

Possibly, I'm not 100% certain, but it would/could explain the situation above where a Carphone Warehouse phone worked interchangeably across EE and Three. Though, do they only tie the handset to the network if it's a contract sim? Would a sim-only/PAYG still leave phone unlocked?

I just tried my Three sim in my gf locked EE S6 and it doesn't work, I also have a carphone warehouse Nexus 6 on contract with EE and my Three sim works in there as well as my Mother's "Life" sim card.

Mine has arrived! Yey! 37 minutes before delivery slot, and no "Next Stop" text which I had requested. Not complaining mind!! :)

UKMail - East London Bromley By Bow area.

Now it's playtime! :)

So about 5 hours late, UK Mail has been able to finally deliver my new baby. Love my new 6S :D.

Just trying to restore my iPhone 6 backup onto my 6S. All gone through fine but now stuck on a white screen with black apple logo. Been that way for about 15 minutes. Anyone else had this issue

Make sure the version of iOS from the back up is the same as the version of iOS on the handset you are trying to restore to. You can not restore iOS 8 data onto an iOS 9 device... You also can not restore iOS 9 onto an iOS 9.0.1 device without updating first.

Previous iPhone back was 9.0.1, 6S also 9.0.1 (I updated before restoring)

So EE sent me the wrong phone. I ordered a 64 GB iPhone 6s, and they sent me a 16 GB iPhone 6s.

So now I have to wait "up to 7 days" for the returns package to arrive, wait for it to be delivered back to EE, then wait another "up to 7 days" for the returns to be processed, and then order a replacement phone. That's assuming that they're in stock.

I am not happy. Not happy at all.

Can't you swap it at an EE store?

Been stuck on this for at least half an hour... Restore went through the 'x amount of hours remaining' screen to this...

Had to wait all day to get mine. Was delivered at 10am so work dragged.

Still, been waiting for a big upgrade that'll last a year or two and this looks like it's the one.

Solid feel, lightning quick, double RAM, quick camera with OIS, big interface change with 3D Touch, and, hopefully, a very good battery.

6s Plus is nice.

Is anyone else having trouble with apple update servers? Can't check for updates at the moment

Not according to EE (I called them three times, and each time was told the same thing). It's a real shame, because I live less than 1 minute from an EE Store. Seriously seriously not impressed.

If it's that close by, might be worth popping in at least? Maybe make a scene haha
