I went in as soon as I'd finished on the phone with the returns department. They told me the same thing that I was told over the phone.

I'm appalled by their customer service. There's absolutely no excuse for it.

EDIT: the lady in the EE shop was very rude and snappy. The whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I would expect it could have been developed further in the OS. It is pretty basic at the moment. Why no hard press on Settings that would give you access to other options? Why no ability to customise what Hard press does on the system apps. Hard press on Music for instance could play your favourite album or radio station. settings could give you option to enable low power mode or auto brightness.

They went to the effort of making a new display and haptic motor adding a substantial amount of weight and seemed to neglect the software side of it!
 
If anyone is here and not playing with their new phone...

My 6+ is currently on 9.1 and I gather I can't restore straight from a back up of that onto new phone if it ever arrives. So, what's the best route and how?

And know this has been done and probably on this thread but it's 337 pages long so please give a girl a break!

Yesterday evening I got my 5S ready for today. Backup just in case, DFU and update, it says you need to restore, clicked on restore. It downloaded 9.0.1 and updated the phone but didn't delete anything from it
 
JEEZZZZZ HAD THE BIGGEST SCARE.
So I got a text from UKMail saying it was going to be delivered Saturday?! And then to find out it had been delivered and signed for. What the hell!

I've signed for delivery updates this morning, both email and text. Got my phone at 2, still no text or email. I guess their system refused to process so much data
 
Got my 6S Plus but i actually think i'll be returning it and skipping this generation. The screen on my 6S plus is warmer and dimmer than my 6 Plus which was an instant turnoff once i noticed it. Trying to talk myself into dealing with it. Hmm...

It's definitely heavier and not as sleek in the hand as the 6+ on top of that the camera is a nice upgrade but nothing spectacular. I felt the 6+ improved a great deal under iOS 9 and that maybe would have been enough for me but I have the disposable cash so I'm not too bothered. I just would like the attention to detail to raise slightly as I have felt it has dropped in the last couple years from a software perspective.
