UK iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Thread

I'm absolutely DELIGHTED with it. It really is beautiful. I thought the 6s Plus model might be a little bit too big for me since I'm coming from a 5s but so far so good!

This might sound silly but I love having a bigger keyboard, I was had a habit of hitting the wrong keys on my other iPhones, I don't have fat fingers either! But this keyboard is the right size for me and typing has been smooth and without as many errors. I absolutely love having the bigger screen now too, especially since I read a lot on news articles so it's easier on my eyes.

I'm impressed at how fast this phone is too. Fsntastic. Going to take a bit of getting used to the 3D Touch and new home button. Happy with the weight of the phone too, (I liked the weight of the 4s), I don't feel like this is going to fly out my hands!

My only little, tiny complaint is, I thought the wallpapers moved on the lock screen, I didn't realise that was 3D Touch also. Anyway, but the end of the world I may have picked up on something incorrectly.

Haven't had the chance to test out the cameras. It'll be interesting to see how I get on taking photos with a bigger handset.

Got myself a temporary case until i find something I really like. Got a feeling I'll end up with an official Apple case...

Am also loving the leap from a 5s though I didn't go plus.

Have similar feeling re live wallpapers but am loving how fast the phone unlocks with my fingerprint and indeed how fast it is in general.

Will be interested to see how battery life compares especially since I surf and take photos A LOT!

I got a couple of Spigen cases and a couple of cheap ones but nothing looks as great as the official silicone - which has chipped so will need to go get exchanged tomorrow. It's a pretty tight fit but looks lovely.

How stupid are the Live Wallpapers? You have to press on the display when it is locked for it to move...? Can someone tell me the point of this? Surely they should have mimicked the Apple Watch's new moving watch faces? When you raise your watch and activate the display it plays about 1.5 seconds of moving image and stops on the image of London/NYC etc. Why couldn't they have copied this approach?

Just been to the Apple Store and I fell in love with the Midnight Blue silicone case. I had the midnight blue leather when the 6 plus came out but it got messy quickly so pleased they did it in silicone.

Dude also managed to find me a Midnight Blue Apple Watch strap out the back too, bonus :)

I'm stuck at work until 1030, my phone arrived just before I left so I haven't been able to play with it yet!

I had two phones ordered with a scheduled delivery of 18:44 to 19:44. No delivery has been made though and the tracking on UK Mail changed to "Delayed" at 20:00. My delivery estimate is now Monday 18:44 to 19:44. I did speak to someone at UK Mail this morning who said that any missed deliveries would be attempted again tomorrow so I really hope that's the case.

Erm so if my phone is just loading all my apps on what will happen if I unplug my phone from itunes, kinda need to go out...

Thats what I was hoping for when the rumours about moving wallpapers started. I imagine it would be quite a battery drain which is why they didn't do it, but at the moment it seems to be a little bit of a gimmick, even though it is a neat one.

They'll either keep downloading on cellular or sit paused till the next time you connect if you have mobile data turned off.
 
My perfect combination. iPhone 6s Plus 128gb space grey with Apple black leather case. Perfect!
 
My store reservation was at 18:45 but luckily my wife was passing the Apple Store on the way home at 3:30 and called in to try and pick up my 6s+...luckily they let her (she had the reservation email forwarded from me and some ID) so it was waiting for me when I got home at 5. Love it.
 
I am over my diva fit. Bit embarressed I let it get to me so much. I will still have an amazing phone on Monday.

Quick question the rose gold, are you happy with your purchase?

Also I am really glad I got the Spigen Crystal Clear case.
