But I dont know if its finished its process?

If you're still in the process of restoring from a back up using iTunes I would suggest you don't disconnect. If you do you may well have to start all over again from the beginning and your phone probably won't be usable until you do.

I'm very disappointed, I have an email from apple stating that I would receive my iPhone today "Delivers 25/09/2015"

I also have an email and text I received today from UK Mail stating that the consignment is out on the van for delivery today.

I also rang UK Mail who promised me I would receive my handset before 8pm today.

I ordered the iPhone @ 8.02am on the 12th of September on the understanding I would get it on launch day.

I'm very disappointed, both with Apple & their choice of courier.

I took the whole day off work today just to make sure I was home to sign for my delivery.

If I knew that was not the case I would have reserved in store to make sure I was able to get my handset on launch.

I guess maybe it will arrive tomorrow although now both Apple and UK Mail's websites now show the date as September 28th 2015, if that is indeed the case then thats another huge disappointment.

I believe this is a clear breach of The Consumer Contracts Regulations that state goods must be delivered within the time frame you agree with the seller.

What do people do for insurance? :Apple care or third party? This will be my first iphone and feel the need for insurance after splashing out 699!

Just about all set up with mine and loving it so far.

Looking forward to more apps using 3D Touch. I could see it becoming a killer feature if devastated get on board.

Also hoping more people integrate Touch ID - I can't believe how quick it is now!

Sorry if this is a silly question, I was wondering, if my sim is in my new phone can I back up my other phone to iTunes or does the sim need to be in the phone to back up?

I am over my diva fit. Bit embarressed I let it get to me so much. I will still have an amazing phone on Monday.

Quick question the rose gold, are you happy with your purchase?

Also I am really glad I got the Spigen Crystal Clear case.

I hate the feel of that case, I had to return it.

Dont know about anyone else but i am most impressed by touch id how much quicker it is than the 6.
Also my screen is white all over, whereas every iphone ive had previously has always had a yellow spot somewhere.

It's not an actual breach, it's in their terms and conditions - they protect themselves from
every angle possible.

I've been having an absolute nightmare with UK Mail too - my silicone cases were supposed to be delivered on the 15th of September. They were delivered yesterday evening. Took me 8 phonecalls/chats with Apple, 3 phonecalls with Syncreon and 3 phone convos with UK Mail itslef to finally get them.

They mess people around, blame each other for poor logistics and it's just like a game of tennis with you, the consumer being the ball.

UK Mail is perhaps the worst courier in the UK - I'm really surprised that apple even lets Syncreon use them. They're unreliable, rude and just *****!! On one occasion my order was delivered to my neighbour because the driver couldn't be arsed to knock on my door :)

They will re-attempt delivery tomorrow or the next working day. After that, be prepared for a lot of grief with getting your parcel. I know I did!!

Installed my Bodyguardz UltraTough Clear Skin front & back, and everything is all right in the world.
I suspected that my old Leather Case would be a little bit too tight, and I was proved right. So it's no case for me for a few months, whilst I rock this smooth-yet-grippy skin.

Loving how quick TouchID is on this phone. While I've liked it on the 6 I always found it a bit laggy and had to keep my finger on the scanner so long I felt I'd have been better off swiping.

I'm now starting to really dislike my iPad Air though. I've spent the last year trying to use TouchID on a device that doesn't have it and now I'm trying to 3D Touch the damn thing. Gimmick or not, it's easy to get used to :(

Well made the decision to package mine up and I have set up a return with Apple! Nice phone but once the excitement of opening a new gadget wore off it's just a 6 with some new features baked in. 3D touch - no thanks, live photos a complete gimmick (IMO). Having 2GB of RAM is nice but I've never had had any problems using my 6 and it manages fine for what I use it for with 1GB, Camera barely any better and it was hard to tell differences between shots taken on each device. This has just reinforced the reason why I tend to steer clear of 'S' years! Hopefully the 7 will impress in 12 months! :)

Well, bit of a farce for me today. Pre-ordered two 6Ss for pick up in store. Arrived and managed to buy one no problem for my wife. I opted to buy a watch as well but when putting through the transaction the mobile terminal ran out of battery during processing. As a result my card was charged and amount deducted from my account but the sale didn't register at Apple and is lost "in the ether". Had to leave the store almost £1000 poorer and wait for it to either be refunded automatically or have the hassle of getting it back before I can go back to buy. Have had them put aside for me and been offered a case and strap to say sorry (eventually) but I have had to put up with my wife playing with her phone all evening.

Frustrating day to say the least!
