To be fair it seems about right for companies these days. Maybe make a little on interest etc? The only bit I see on the website regarding speed of payments is this.

Fast Payments
We will start to process your payment within 24 hours of receiving and testing your device. You can choose from Bank Transfer, cheque or Argos vouchers.

Right ok. I've only sold to Mazuma before, who do have the 2 hour payment process. Doesn't really matter I suppose.

Quick question, how long should it take, roughly, to restore from a back up? 6s+ has been restoring for well over an hour now and is saying 6 more to go. I know they can take a while but I've never had it take this long and despite them both being 128GBs, the phone is emptier than it's been in ages and so the back up shouldn't be massively big.

3D touch is only going to get better and better as more is added to it...going to have most apps working with it.

Right one of the lads on avf who I asked a few days ago to check unlock status on his John Lewis bought ip6s plus confirms it works on both ee and o2 sims and it hasn't locked to either

Saw that. Good news. I couldn't see how they could lock the phone to the first SIM it was activated on as the phone was sold as SIM free.

Edit - If it was bought on a PAYG SIm I could understand it more.

From the JL website...

"Please note: iPhone will lock itself to the network of the first SIM card that is used in the phone. Subsequently attempting to use it on any other network, for example by replacing the SIM card, may mean it becomes permanently unusable. SIM free iPhones can only be used with a UK-network SIM card, and will not accept foreign SIM cards"

Read a page or two back, we've been discussing this most of the day. I even phoned them and asked. Seems like it will not lock to the first sim and its a website error.

Did you get it in writing?
No but the way it was said over the phone convinced me enough not to cancel my order plus the evidence from others who have purchased from JL. I'll find out tomorrow when i collect it.

6S all set up and working just fine and I've put my Minotaur invisible screen protector on it - 3D touch still working fine. I really like my iPhones naked but I'm debating with myself whether or not to buy a case for it, but they spoil the looks of the phone IMO... :)
