They received one from me this morning at 805 and by 12 I had an email saying it had passed.

Thanks, check this morning and the phone has been signed for. The status hasn't update under my account as the phone has been received. I'm being impatient! Want to order a Apple Watch :D

Overnight it's normal to loose 10% battery with a 3 bar signal. More if you have less bars.

Ive never lost 10% overnight on my 6, and now on my 6s, I usually lose around 3% overnight.

Don't know what to believe now... As an article I read last night which posted a few pages back said only unlocked phones came direct from Apple while 3rd party retailers sell SIM free which will lock to first network SIM inserted, John Lewis was also mentioned as one of those retailers! Hmmmm....

That isn't correct as both Three and Giffgaff will sell you a completely unlocked iPhone.

According to another poster on here who knows everything there is no such thing ;)

Rather than trying to be facetious you should actually research what you are talking about. There is no such thing as "Distance Selling Regulations" anymore, they were repealed in 2014, and the original post you are trying to be sarcastic about was referring to the "distance selling goods act" which does not, and never has existed in the UK.

The current statutory consumer protection laws that cover distance selling are the Consumer Contract Regulations.

I bank with first direct. As far as I know the tester lets the accounts dept know to pay out. There is a delay at this point. Once it's passed to accounts the payment is processed but then takes so many days to clear. I've sent two phone back one they received last Thursday and that will clear on the 1st and one they received today which will clear on the 5th

Oh right that's a dummer. I was hoping the money today or tomorrow. I chose the bank transfer as I thought it would have been quick.

To be fair it seems about right for companies these days. Maybe make a little on interest etc? The only bit I see on the website regarding speed of payments is this.

Fast Payments
We will start to process your payment within 24 hours of receiving and testing your device. You can choose from Bank Transfer, cheque or Argos vouchers.
