6S Plus. Really, really impressed with the camera quality this year.

In the daytime i'd agree with you - in low light situations i'm seriously unimpressed (upgraded from a 5s), especially after the big deal they made out of it at the keynote.

Was in Tesco getting lunch and used Apple Pay which was ridiculously fast thanks to Touch ID 2. Both the cashier and I had to do a double take because we weren't sure it had gone through. Until we saw a recipe being printed out.

I've not used the rear camera (yet) in lowlight conditions but the FaceTime HD camera isn't great in lowlight; I find the Retina Flash makes me look like a Zombie, haha.

Quick question, how long should it take, roughly, to restore from a back up? 6s+ has been restoring for well over an hour now and is saying 6 more to go. I know they can take a while but I've never had it take this long and despite them both being 128GBs, the phone is emptier than it's been in ages and so the back up shouldn't be massively big.

Not sure why it takes so long either but mine took hours and hours! Doing my iPad Mini 4 I had to leave it overnight!!

Oh right that's a dummer. I was hoping the money today or tomorrow. I chose the bank transfer as I thought it would have been quick.

Just to chime in here, I sold my iPhone 6 to them also and it took Monday - Friday to get payment in the bank, they received it and it passed inspection on the Monday and I had the money on Friday.

I'm currently on Oxford Street, I've tried the Apple store on Regent Street and Covent garden, both only have the 16gb 6s plus. Carphone warehouse only sell it on contract. John Lewis have loads of 6s but have run out of 6s plus models completely.

Where can I get one around Oxford Street right now?

I know 'S' years tend not to be 'worth the upgrade' generally but I agree with you it is 'well worth it!'
on the contrary, I think the 'S' years are definitely the way to go, even more that the first-gens of a new look.
First-gens seem to always have some issue, meaning they're not optimum:
iPhone 4: Antenna attenuation - fixed for the 4s.
iPhone 5: scratch/scuffgate(Space Grey), no Touch ID.
iPhone 6 Plus: Insufficient RAM.

You've exhausted the only viable options. Everything else around there is small-time tech sellers, who definitely won't have the latest kit.

Probably CEX but they will rob you blind!! Lol
Your best bet is to try at 6am tomorrow morning to secure a reservation

My 6S was restored and ready to go in less than 20 minutes! To be fair don't think my backup was very big...
Mine restored from backup really quickly as well apart from the apps of course but so quick that I was worried it didn't do it properly!

Yes I was surprised at how quick it managed to do the restore! As you say apps took slightly longer to fully download, some people are waiting for hours to do a restore on new devices!!

Did you get an email to say when your bank payment will clear?

My 6S+ order has moved up a bit, woo, estimated earliest is now Oct 9 now rather than Oct 12. I'm usually right on the button with the first batch but I was on holiday and completely forgot about it, ha!

Did actually reserve and collect a 6S on Friday, they still had stock when I reserved it on the afternoon of the preorder day. Got this stupid idea into my head that I wanted to downsize from my current 6 Plus. Realised my mistake within about 2 hours and packed it up and returned it, feeling quite guilty about it. It isn't rent a phone after all.

I wasn't abusing the system, it wasn't my plan in the beginning, but I quickly realised how I massively prefer a larger phone.

Just received an email from them saying it's going to be the 5th October. That's a bit rubbish. Won't be using them again that's for sure.

Why is it rubbish. That's their procedure and policy. You should have contacted them before committing if it was that important to you. Anyways at least you're getting your money even if it is after a week.

Maybe it's just me then. I think a week to provide payment isn't what I would call a good service.

Yes I should have read their terms and conditions.
