With light to moderate use I'm heading for 2 days between charging with my 6s, Galaxy S4 would of been needed to be charged twice by now. Usage 5hrs, Standby 34:37 (Although its actually Usage + Standby) and I'm at 25% remaining so will charge the iPhone in the morning back to 100%. Didn't Sony mock Apple over battery with saying you can get 2 days on their phones? Well I've managed 2 days here with a 6s.

Do Apple do phone contracts in their stores now? Anyone know what the prices are like? Are they the same as going through the official carrier stores?

Just my luck phone available in my store but won't be able to get it today! But great to see stores getting in more stock.

Down to 40% now well into the 2nd day, heres the latest stats from my 6S.

Great to hear! How many times did you check for a reservation before you actually saw one available? My issue is I keep missing the brief windows lol.

Refreshed a few times throughout the day. I was hardly watching the page. Patience pays off.

There's something weird still going on with mine. I unplugged at 6am, and did light usage for 15mins. Battery went down to 93%, not too bad, then it went on standby for an hour and 15 mins. When I woke it up to look at the battery stats, it's saying usage almost as high as standby, but it was sleeping. Any advice? I have a genius appt on Saturday, but I can't get a reservation for my model in either of the 2 Manchester Apple stores.

It's running a bit warm too.

I got a 6S on Friday and thought I'd try out the 6S+ to secure my decision. After two hours, decision made - I am returning the 6S+. It's too big. There was loads of UI lag, and 3D Touch didn't work on half the Apple stock apps where it works on my 6S. Strange. Size was the main issue though.

Battery life on my 6S is really good. But boy it does feel small now :)

I did the same yesterday at Birmingham and think this morning my decision is made - 6S.

6S+ - I agree it's too big - I'm a heavy one hand user and whilst I can just about control the whole phone, I don't really see the benefits.

The battery on 6S+ is outstanding we know that.

I found that all I got was enlarged versions of the same apps on 6S - no new features just bigger. The internet still felt like 'mobile web'

What worst is that apps that weren't 6S optimized looked even worst on 6S+ - Very blurry text.

It's actually made me realise how good iPad mini is, you actually get a more desktop-class web experience.

Agreed on all points. The 6S just feels like such a nicer object after that clunky Plus.

Hope everyone is enjoying their new phones just thought I would post about envirofone and the crappy service I got (it may not be the same for other people) I had the extension offer and sent the phone off to them and now they are saying it's damaged but it was a direct replacement from Apple and always in a case that phone was mint when I sent it to them and I've never had a problem before with other company's so just be careful I would never use them again and now I've lost money in the resale of my phone

What's showing on the top of the page?

I've had an answer from John Lewis about the whole "locks to first sim" issue. They have confirmed in writing that it does lock to the first sim like CarPhoneWarehouse does.

Thank you for your email regarding the iPhone 6s.

I would like to apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused due to our website not being clear with regards to the locking of the device. The device will become locked to the first SIM card that is used with the device.

This means that if you are with the network Vodafone, your iPhone would be locked to that network and any attempt to change this may render the phone useless.

If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Lots of people in the past have had problems with the Facebook app installed, maybe try a day without it, delete the app and use Facebook through Safari for 24 hours and see if it makes a difference.

I had a feeling that would be the case.

I know someone posted that they spoke to someone at JL who said it was a "website error", but that would be worthless if you had bought a phone and experienced a locking issue.

I agree with you, i think the value has dropped quite a bit on iPhone 6 and 5S etc. So envirofone are just making excuses to not buy it even if they gave an extention as they lose out.

Best to avoid them. But however many have sold and got what they asked for so not all that bad

I'm not impressed with Envirofone at all. I should have taken the deal with Mazuma who are fantastic (Watford base company as well). For the extra £27, really isn't worth it.
